But I would 100% rather live a reasonably comfortable life, free of debt or money worries, and have a job where I'm happy with what I'm doing and my place in the company than to have opulent wealth while working a job I'm unhappy with.

When you have children, it becomes less about you paying the bills & having a hobby or two that you can afford. It's about setting your kids up for a comfortable life as well, not just you having a comfortable life. Moose is fortunate enough that he made that generational money before wrestling.

This is a great example that not every single wrestler needs to go to the big companies like WWE or AEW to make money or to make a name for themselves it’s about the love of wrestling.
It can also be about being a big fish in a small pond. A big name in TNA might end up in mid or lower card, but there would be more learning opportunities.

Also, as far as Scott D'Amore getting fired, I really believe the people behind the scenes are covering up the reason why he got fired which I think is really shady. I think they should have Scott D'Amore at least speak up on the matter instead of just leaving and not say anything. I doubt that it has little if anything to do with the "WE'RE F*CKING BACK" promo he did.
My memories of people who stay loyal to TNA doesn't end very well, but i admit Moose is like AJ for TNA/Impact, he is that guy, even tho TNA isn't the best at the time but at least they had him which was usually occupied by AJ.

It's also how the larger promotions keep smaller ones from gaining traction because they'll buy a talent by giving them more money and then putting them on the bench like he said. This means that the world champ/prime player, the indy or smaller promotion spent time to build, got taken away just to not be used.
