I’ve honestly kind of felt that way since super Cena. As a kid I saw him as the good guy, but looking back on his feuds with nexus and punk, I can legitimately say he looks like the bad guy looking back on it. Both nexus and punk were more over than him during that short period of time and Cena was only there to take the spotlight away from them. It’s almost like baby faces are like that high school jock that the coach meat rides and gives them all the minutes, despite not being the best on the team. Roman and Cody are also prime examples.
