Once, again, today I listened and wept. In a few days I will turn 76 y.o., born exactly one week to the day after D-Day. I hope this "Con te Partiro" will be played along with "Amazing Grace" at my funeral.

I am proud to have heard and marched behind the Scots Poipe and drums,both as a Gunner and JLRRA batsman, I have also heard Celtic Woman sing it,I wish so much with all my heart they would collaborate and combine they music and voices as one for this song, an anthem of goodbye to all who have served,past and present

I played this yesterday at my Father-in-Law's funeral. He loved the pipes and drums and we thought this was apt for an old soldier. It reduced everyone to tears - a powerful tune played brilliantly by the RDSG. It made the day perfect and gave him a great send-off.
My Scots-Irish roots awaken to the beauty in the sound of the bagpipes.....thank you God for giving me the ability to hear them....thank you, thank you
Said goodbye to my grandmother a few weeks ago. She had passed away on mother's day 2021 her memorial was 5/15/2021 at her home in Arizona. I was very close to her. I will miss her and our talks. Till me meet again godspeed.

The Pipes, and Scotland, are from my ancestors, so fortunate, and we had to go to
Antrim, Northern Ireland, and then my great-grandfather came here alone, to New Zealand. 1870's.....farmer , new life, my grandmother insisted I learn the pipes, well how fortunate I am.....
After listening multiple times, I realize that I will never tire of these amazing songs. Thank you.

As my Scotti wife and lassie and I celebrate National Tartan Day , we certainly know after almost 48 years of marriage this song will be part of ending of our union some day, along with the singing of Auld Lang Syne for the one who survives with our Scot friends.........

from the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, where we just had the highland games on Grandfather Mountain, to Scotland. Awesome music, and grand scenery.

Damn it, I burst into tears everytime I listen to this. Lost my Mum last May, Miss her so much. Dad is in bad health and says he'll be seeing Mum soon. Mum was from Bristol UK , Dad is from Ayr / Irvine.

Isle of Mull is fucking gorgeous... I vacationed there with my family around the year 2000, was only 13 at the time. We stayed in a small town that was like one road big for houses, but had a hotel, dance hall, and there was a tire swing out somewhere near by. I want to go back one day!

Brilliant, this and Flower of Scotland have to be my favourites! I'm Australian with Geordie roots, got to have some Scot blood in me because the pipes just tug at your heart strings. I love my country music but you Scots have got it made. Edward must have been shitting his pants all those years ago with a bunch of really pissed of Scots coming over the hill, bagpipes blazing, what a magnificent sight that would have been!

I've loved the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards since 1972, when they scored a surprise pop hit in the U.S. with "Amazing Grace." In fact, it was one of the songs I played at my mother's celebration of life service in 2006 -- there's no version as majestic as that one. They do justice to "Time to Say Goodbye" as well.

travelled trough this beatiful country with a car all around already a few times starting in Edinburgh and going trough Glasgow,Fort William, Ullapool , trough Sutherlands all way by the coasts to John O Groats and down to Inverness and back to Edinburgh, also of course Aberdeen , been everywhere :) love it

My mom passed away on June 2nd. Her wish was to have her ashes scattered at sea so that she would make the trip back from the US to her birthplace, Scotland. We will be doing that tomorrow, Saturday. I was raised listening to the pipes and drums, and it was so much a part of our house, of her life, that it's only fitting that the pipes see her on her journey. Maybe one day I'll make the trip home as well.
I listened to this and suddenly tears ran freely.... so very moving, I always cry when I hear bagpipes
