@Heycel i know man....this whole of business just bugs me no end.
“ I came back to my homeland ....”
few seconds later “ I got deported from the US “ 🤣
So I'm actually watching your videos because my professor asked us to review the vlog scene, and how people create global media abroad. It's great to see a friendly, positive outlook even while traveling to what's normally considered wild, strange places. It's great to see you interact with these wonderful people so interested and respectful, because it's what I'd hope a good world traveler would act like. It's good material for the essay, too, but first a really nice experience. Awesome awesome job
I was thinking that guy in the intro sounded pretty American, then I got why lol
Best traveller 👋👋love Somalian people ♥️ greeting from Morocco 🇲🇦🇸🇴

we love you too brother
i am from somalia, i love morrocian as well
Been to Morocco great people, food and country 😁
I love you to
yeah it's totally safe you just have to travel with a guy with an AK-47
Unbeliveable how someone could call Somalia safe😂 He can't even walk around with a camera in some places ffs.
@starwreck9 This is so as not to have your whiny MSM do a story about how a western tourist was kidnapped or killed in Somaliland. This would satisfy the prefered western narrative about Somalia/Somaliland.
Just because a law like this exists doesnt mean its necessary
starwreck9 it’s definitely safer than the USA . That’s real fact.
@@jyrkimaansiirrotoy1836 Its a cultural thing with us buddy. Rude to point a camera at a person or groups of people without their consent. Its pretty safe out in SOMALILAND.
5:49 the best thing about the videos on the channel isn't even the amazing footage but the stories of resilience of the local people in their difficult situations.
That guy was 100 percent a liar and I would bet so much on it.
I love how you focus on showing the positive side of the country, and in most of the cases there are always much more positives than negatives.
Somali people are some of the friendliest I've ever met. Sure some of the older generation come may come a little more rude to some people but they just have different believes and follow old traditions. Any thank you for another great video!
Love Somalia 🇸🇴 from Finland 🇫🇮We have a lot of Somalis in here ❤️😁

"it's safe, no murders, no pirates nobody gone do you anything"
- Drives around with a guard and ak-47.
To the people who don’t understand the security situation in Somaliland and why armed guards and checkpoints are necessary even though it is a safe country, let me explain. In 2004 there were two incidents where foreigners were killed by armed Islamic militants that were called Al Ittihad based in southern Somalia. In the first a Kenyan aid worker was gunned down somewhere in the countryside and in the other case, a British couple who ran a school in Somaliland were gunned down in their home by the same group. The murderers were caught and executed. Since then it has become law that a foreigners who wish to travel outside the major towns hire a guard from the Special Protection Unit of the Somaliland Police. This is necessary to protect the traveller and to protect the reputation of Somaliland as a country seeking international recognition as a country independent of the failed nation of Somalia. There has not been a single such incident since the last in 2004. Checkpoints have always existed since 1991for general checks in the absence of technology such as checking for illegal immigrants from Ethiopia which is a common problem, licence and documentation checks, etc. People have been calling for the law requiring the armed guard to be abolished as the law in itself may make visitors question the safety of the country. The government and parliament and so far refused to do so. In general, Somaliland is very safe. Where else in the world would you find a bureau de change on the side street and women selling gold outdoor in the market in the open.
@@fdama these people don't care. they just don't like somalia
I can assure you Somaliland is safer than New York or London not no gangs or terrorist exist or pirates. Mainly due to local population being vigilante against such things and sophisticated intelligence service that has eyes and ears everywhere to protect security specially of tourist
The armed guard is for when traveling out of town only and is an outdated law from 15 years ago when a foreign teacher was killed by a terrorist from the south. Ever since not a single terror attack happen! How many times Paris got attacked or London? I would advise against traveling to the Southern Somalia Border though even though things improved there its not yet fully secure.
A few American tourists were gunned down in the US last year and it did t become an international story, warning people of the US. 2 tourists die in somaliland and the way the mainstream media reported on it, was out of proportion to what really happened.
For #backup i believe

Lots of bigoted folks here. The deported guy was less than desirable. The government is probably corrupt. But the normal people he encountered seemed genuine. You cannot deny the countryside is amazing. Profiling a whole citizenry as bad people is foolish. Good people are everywhere. First world countries have issues just as third world ones have the same. Come to Las anod man , its just 3hours drive from Burao I’ve been watching ur videos for a while never thought u will come to my country, U a great adventurer .
Man, you're killing it with these series. You got the balls of titanium. Also the guy with the "green card" is lying to you. If he actually had a green card then he's a permanent resident and the government can't deport him just for fun, he had to commit a few criminal offences to be kicked out. I know that because I went through that program.
Green cards have expiration dates. I know this because my green card would have expired in 2025 but I was granted citizenship before it.
Expiration dates exist.
You can tell he was lying by the way he was handling himself, but yeah, I don't think he had bad intentions by it, he just wanted to seem relatable.
@@theantianti7 The expiration dates are only for the physical document itself, not for your status as a permanent resident. When you green card expires, you just go to the immigration office and they put a sticker on it that extends the validity of the document. I travelled to Canada and back with an expired green card that had an extension sticker on it. The border patrol had absolutely no problems with it. Again, when your green card expires, your permanent resident status does not, I know that for a fact.
He def got arrested or something or just had a working visa that expired
I always like your videos, you put in different ways about the country you visited. It's really interesting.
