This is certainly a rare car. I love seeing them get restored. They were a car before its time. To me it's most beautiful with its curves and body style with the just the right hood scoops. A great build to share as well. Hope you guys had fun. I love to see now. Being this is 3 years.
From one car chick to another, THANK YOU for saving this beautiful piece of Pontiac history!! I've loved these cars since I was 13, when I rode in my aunt's Iroc lol soooo, I myself own the sister car to yours, a 1988 Iroc Z, looking for a Firebird now. Good luck and be safe!! Congrats!!

I saw this car years ago "in situ" when I visited Jack. I'm glad you rescued it! Coronado Gold is the color. I always said those A pillars were done for but it's going to look great, I'll bet. Lots of kudos to you.
Glad its being rebuilt. When its done it will be worth big $$$$$$$ These are getting harder to find. Dont sell it. I need to put my 70 together also LOL
You should see the '72 Firebird I own. I'm the third owner and the car is drivable, tagged and legal. I'm on disability and can't afford to restore my baby I've owned 22 years and had admired since 1978. I'm thinking about taking offers. I won't give it away! There's a lot of original Pontiac there.
@@megaeverything101 how is that going? I'm going to have to do mine. You can see all the fibers in spots. I'm not sure how difficult repairing that will be. No cracks or anything like that though.
Cool, great start! I am undergoing a restoration on the same car, also never left CA.. I haven't blasted the body yet, no rust that I have been able to find, so praying I end up with less work than you guys !
Good luck with that ‘bird!!! Can’t wait to see more content on this one. I am currently in the same situation as you with a ‘78 TA. Just received my floor pans for each side on Thursday. :)
Thanks! Hopefully I can get a video done on the a-pillars soon. Seems like there aren't very many options with these cars when it comes to those. Good luck on your car! It's always a good day when parts are delivered!

Thank you! It should be a good project. Hoping to have it done towards the beginning of next year if all goes well. It was Coronado Gold with a black interior. Definitely not keeping the gold though. It looks like you've got a formula as well?
