- Predator 224 gets a cast aluminum flywheel
Did some speed runs with the predator 224 powered Coleman cc100x minibike with a Tillotson 212e flywheel? And then swapped out the flywheel for a lightweight cast-aluminum flywheel to see if it would make any difference in performance.

The cast aluminum flywheel has the full size cooling fins too. It’s a steal for what you get.
I bet that the timing is a bit off. In theory, it should be noticeably faster on acceleration and a slightly higher top speed.
Dude those drive byes with the camera cracked me up everytime 🤣
Wassup, I order a banzai 265 camm and 26 lb springs, billet rod and the flywheel you have on your 224 for my 224 and I am building it rn!
what clutch was used in this vid
Also that cast aluminum flywheels probably the cheaper alternative for people who don't wanna spend the money on the ARC but need the Safety of it
Imma get one and remove the governor
Will this flywheel fit a predator 212 non hemi?...new to all this...
Would a stock cam work with that flywheel
Still very impressive numbers. and now the safety is there. I run the same flywheel on one of my predators.Once again thanks for all the info
Hi, where can i contact you about the product sponsorship?
I dig your videos, simple not over produce, GREAT info, just like CZcams used to be.
Another AWESOME video, It is good to see that you hand lap the flywheel on, when done right, you don't even need a keyway, set it with a degree wheel, Torque it down, and you are good to go. keep the vids coming
Love ur vids learn lots from them thanks
Great video. All in the name of R&D
Love the videos! I watch all ove them at least 10 times 👍👍👍👍
Those Tillotson cast aluminum flywheels are a great bang for your buck for the quality. Plus someone has spun one up to 10k for a long time privately. The downside is they come with only 18 degrees of advance. Granted even though most cams call for 32 34 a 12* keyway will get you to 30.
Good video, that cast flywheel seems to be a much better fit for that Predator 224. :)
Another good video bro
Hey man, love your videos so much quick question I’m trying to carburet my carburetor basically the same one on your engine and the same engine but I can’t seem to carburet it
