Our lovingly renovated Somerset cottage, retains its integrity yet offers every comfort. Included in the rental price is exclusive use of the separate cowshed, a suite of converted farm buildings in the garden, providing extra space to play and relax.
Set in a private quarter of an acre walled garden this stylish rural retreat offers a taste of country living. It has it's own gated entrance providing a safe space for children and parking for several cars.
From your door, walk through woodland along the unspoilt Mells river for a drink at the Talbot Inn, or just curl up on the sofa in the cowshed. Visit Bath, Longleat or Hauser and Wirth Somerset.
Cowshed:-
This authentic Cowshed has been kitted out as a glorious den for all ages to enjoy, whatever the season or the weather. There are games galore including table tennis in its own separate room, pool and table football and an amazing wood fired eco stove to snuggle by and cook on if you fancy it. Perfect for homemade pizzas!
The Cowshed is for your exclusive use during your stay. Revisit simple pleasures or escape the rest of the family in this tranquil space.
Living:-
The sitting room has a traditional wood burning stove and a supply of logs for the fire, TV and Sony DVD and sound system. The kitchen/dining room is light, spacious and well equipped. The glass and oak garden room with a large day bed is bathed in morning sunshine. The cottage is fully central heated and has an eco friendly bio waste system. It is south facing, well insulated and warm - bright in the summer, toasty in the winter.
Bedrooms:-
The cottage sleeps up to 6. Fine linen and towels are provided.
Bedroom 1: (sleeps 2) superking Vi spring bed
Bedroom 2: (sleeps 3) double and a single bed
Bedroom 3: (sleeps 1) single bed
The garden room, with it's daybed, can also be used as an accessible en-suite bedroom on request.
There is an upstairs bathroom with freestanding bath and downstairs shower room.
