Vibranium also doesn't have icing, but it vibrates when struck. It would damage itself if it was vibranium. A resulting adamantium armor would be better as it's weight could be offset by his suits gyros

@@ericgonzalez2946 the case of the hulk is a sad and special one…he was ALWAYS used as a measuring stick to give the audience a more or less accurate visualization of how powerful a foe was…shield didn’t want to bother him because if they made him angry he could level any city in the vicinity and they couldn’t stop him,…think of “We have an army” , “We have a Hulk”(another show of power for hulk)…enter the hulk “buster” suit which was the beginning of using hulk for power measuring(iron man can at least fight him now)….he was/is unstoppable and so if you best him, your automatically a huge threat hence why he had duels with Thor(Thor was favored to win therefore more powerful)…then Thor loses to thanos…surely hulk in 1v1 can get him and save them from the snap? Hulk loses , so now there is no one “capable” to beat thanos unless it’s a team effort because he is established as stronger than hulk….sad for the character but brilliant for the movies.
In the comics we all know the more hulk fights / the more angry he gets…the more powerful he becomes as the fight goes on…in the movies this model just didn’t work…because he would always be the Answer to all their problems in the end.

This was established in Age of Ultron. As Ultron said quoting Tony, “keep your friends rich and your enemies rich and wait to see which is which”. Tony likely didn’t buy vibranium from him because he didn’t want international heat on him after turning over a new leaf. Buying vibranium from Klaw and going public with it would have Wakandans hunting him down at every turn.

Vibranium comes from the fictional country of Wakanda."*
**"The element that Tony Stark invents in the movie *Iron Man 2* is not Vibranium. Tony develops an entirely new element to improve his Arc Reactor and cure himself of the palladium poisoning caused by the original reactor. This element is not named in the films, but it is implied to be a creation based on Howard Stark's research and left as a blueprint for Tony.
Vibranium, on the other hand, is a fictional metal in the Marvel Universe, most famously found in Wakanda. It is known for its unique ability to absorb kinetic energy and is primarily associated with Captain America's shield and Wakandan technology.
While there is no direct connection between the element Tony develops and Vibranium in the movies, one might speculate that Tony was inspired to create something similar to Vibranium or with similar properties. However, there is no official confirmation that the new element contains molecular structures of Vibranium.
