If they don’t reduce their prices, solve the endless recalls (16 as of the beginning of the year), AND increase the battery range while towing and in the cold, they will be bleeding blue for years to come
It's an honour to be in the presence of such a positive and forward thinker.............
Another nattering nabob of negativity.
One idiot tuber visiting Blue Oval City said ' I think I saw a T3 prototype while
I was there.' They have to finish building at least 1 building & employees aririve for work before they can build this new truck. There may be employees working in cubicles offsite working on drawings and whatnot but the new plant has to be built before they can build this new truck.
!
Should be interesting! I'm thinking they'll have a Giga Press or two in there.
Not sure Ford is that erudite.
Capable of producing 500,000 vehicles a year, that's about one per minute (one every 63 seconds), 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. That's a whole lot of production.
Mindblowing,i want a Ford!
Greetings from oakville Ontario Canada home of the ford plant opened up in 1953 thanks for sharing this video 😊
Damn, Ford is on a roll. There'll always be the old foggies who can't embrace change, just like when Henry Ford was replacing the horse and buggy with the Model T. Heck, all you got to do is look at some of the comments here. I can't wait, change is exciting and I'll be looking forward to my Ford T3.
I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE BUILT AN ALL ELECTRIC FORD RANGER
#someday
From that silhouette, the front of that truck seems similar in shape and length to the "far out front" Econoline van of the 70s and 80s.
Insiders have said it looks like a more radical/futuristic take on the '97-03 trucks. You can see part of the side profile in ford's 1:27 minute video on the t3 with a designer standing next to it. Looks like the fenders angle down aggressively with a raked windshield, with its angle flowing into a character line on the front fender. Looks sick from what little we can see. Can't wait to see it.
I expect a shocking splash much like the Maverick. Ford is leading the way.
Robocop will like to drive the Ford T3 EV police vehicles. I'm a fan of sci fi and futuristic technology things.
Here in Canada, the price of Ford Lightning is arround $123 000......
We don't see too much of these
Damn. Good luck Ford.
that's about $123 USD
Quite a few of them in my area. There's a nice Lariat edition Lightning at our local Ford dealer and the sticker price is $93000. I was surprised, not that much more than my Lariat Powerboost
😃
Sam.....Mustangs are calling....2024 Birmingham/Barber Motorsports Park.
No. They're not.
@@TestDrivenTV LOL
All new electric flop.
They'll probably build all this and still be unable to meet battery and EV demand.
This is confusing naming. Because Ford has named their combustion engine division "Ford Blue" and the electric division "Ford Model e". I would have thought they would name this plant "Model e City" or something since "Blue" is used for combustion.
The “Blue Oval” has been a nickname for Ford Motor Company overall forever
Cheaper? Ha
Did Ford loose 4 million or billion this year?
$3 billion. Perhaps they feel it’s the price of learning. If true, I suspect this will be the true foundation moving forward. If they can increase range and decrease price.
@@zackdemundo Price of scaling
Most of that was due to Rivian.
@@uowebfoot I thought they made a ton of money on that ipo.
Haven't heard that one before.
Almost all of it was due to Argo AI, but secondarily Rivian....
