I was bullied all the way until I graduated both in school and on the bus. I’d have loved to have done stuff like this to my tormentors
I would too.
You and me both!
Same here
Same.
Ditto.
Erin Murphy was an excellent child actress.
How is school?
Oh it is still there!
Lolllll 🤣🤣🤣
great line!
That was funny!😂🤣
Oh she has some plans ..😃
Seeing the clothes the kids are wearing and what the classroom looks like reminds me of when I was in elementary school. Good times.
I love her little green dress!
When I was in grammar school the girls wore dresses until we were in the third grade that is when we all wore the polyester pantsuits. Looking back at pictures the dresses were so short My mom made most of mine so they were not as short as some of the others. I still remember wearing the tights. I hated them, they never fit right.
Yes I was born in the seventies but it was a good era as well I miss those days when love was all that mattered and God .
I remember that too. I used to wear dresses yo school. I went to school in the 70's and 80's.
Kind dress I wear was in grade school days. My favorite aunt use love buy me dresses as child.,
“You COULD’VE punched him in the nose or kicked him in the shin.” ...Was that lady like back in the days lool
Compared to turning him into a frog? Yes.
"How was school?"
"Oh, it's still there."
I should start using that comeback; bit late regarding school though! 😉
Tabitha getting payback on a bully was awesome
If only it would be that simple in reality
@@roddma yes if only that was simple my friend.
A time when someone as young as tabitha walked to school and back and it was perfectly normal
Or when people were too innocent and unaware of the dangers out there. They were always there, its just that people either didn't want to think of it, or it didn't occur to them to think about it. Obviously also this was before the internet. These days at the touch of a button parents can see hundreds of cases of child abduction that would make them want to put them in an airtight box
It was perfectly normal, but things did happen. I grew up in the sixties, and my parents were always diligent and cautious. Children were sexually abused, it was kept quiet, children were too scared to even mention it and probably wouldn't of been believed. Children did disappear and were murdered, it was often not the big media grab it is today, and sadly, if the child was a minority it wasn't really news worthy, maybe a mention. My grandmother was born in 1895, and shit happened a lot, but it was even more hush hush. Today we have social media, those creeps who use to hang out in the basement now have access to groups of like minded people. There have always been predatory opportunists.
@@51Saffron Yep! But My sister and I walked home from Elementary School in the 1950's and it took a wonderful 40 minutes of playing with our compatriots!!
Just sayin'!
I did that too in elementary school in 2005. My little sister too in 2013. It's a small town in Germany though, kinda safe
I walked back and fourth to kindergarten in the 60s. It was a quarter mile. What a shame our kids are in bubble wrap today.
This is the second bully got in Tabitha 's face ! Once she was younger ( in another espiode!) She's one smart little girl! Taught both bullies a lesson!
"You're smart, mom. you only needed one guess" damn I love that how cute 😍😭
Tabitha's cute little purse. Bullying teacher of the 60s and 70s. Remember those years.
“You COULD’VE punched him in the nose or kicked him in the shin.”
Me: that’s my woman right there. Teaching her daughter that it’s ok to physically stand up for herself.
But turn it around...
Today the mother would have told her to reason with the bully using Critical Race Theory.
@@curtyzzz If the *THE FIRST PEOPLE OF THIS CONTINENT AND AFRICAN AMERICANS* had punch and kicked earlier, more often and harder maybe there wouldn't be a need for *Critical Race theory.*
WTF is wrong with you?
@Lady Liberty ??? What?
Tabitha is so relatable, when the situation involves bullies and bullied treatment.
Imagine this series running another 5 yrs with a teen Tabitha
@@rsprockets7846 That would have been awesome.
I was bullied throught school....oh how I dreamed I had Samantha's powers
Or maybe Jeannie's ones for a change!
Yes I could have used magical powers in school as well.
@@ameliadiaz8040 Nah...anyone can blink their eyes, but Sam with her "twitch" was more inclusive.
@@02chevyguy
I'd rather blink my eyes like Jeannie than twitch my nose like Samantha, so there!
Hear, hear!
Walking home from school so young! Unthinkable nowadays
Plus, a child disappears, even just a minute before school is out, and the teacher doesn’t even notice.
This reminds me of the time my daughter's first grade teacher told me that my daughter put her fist in another girl's face and told her to "Fuck off" when the bully told her to hand over her lunch money. I tried to keep a straight face and bust out laughing, and her teacher started laughing too.
Ive done that too, my dad just laughed
@@kristinalauss2792 yeah, my daughter thought she was in HUGE trouble, but I just didn’t have the heart to punish her. The teacher wanted me to give her the “turn the other cheek” speech, but I just couldn’t because I was proud of her standing up to a bully.
That is awesome!! 😂
Nice language for first grader. The apple fell not far from tree.
Good for her. I got beat up by about 14 kids for trying to hang onto my lunch money when a girl demanded it. She slapped me, I punched her and the next thing I know a whole group of her friends and relatives were on me. Then I got suspended
Samantha was really good looking back then, especially with that long hair and her outfit.
Dude- she was SMMMMMMOKIN.
She was a great looking woman all her life (Elisabeth Montgomery in general, but as Samantha in particular)
That's Tabitha way of handling a bully
I was kinda bullied in a new school. I helped people that were being teased and bullied. And I am 67, now and they all are still friends
I definitely know how Tabitha feels in this scene, you get tired of being picked one by one particular kid in the classroom (or the whole class in general) and when you get tired and standing up for yourself, YOU'RE the one who's in trouble (while the nit-pickers get a free pass), I know that feeling ALL to well because it's happened to ME !!!
Happened to me too. Schools give the bullies a free pass and instead punish the victims for daring to stand up for ourselves.
And, me!
@@OmegaWolf747 Not only schools giving free passed, but just about everyone and everything else!
Yes ALWAYS
@@OmegaWolf747 schools and the world, especially if you're a female!
Tabatha was no joke.
That teacher sounded just like the Wicked Witch of the West.
She was the same teacher when Tabitha was in preschool!
@@sandy7543 That episode was a riot!
I wish I could have done that with all my bullies! Only I wouldn't have changed them back
♥️
John Manno Tell me about it. The jerks I had to put up with.
Same here.
She got that from the 'killjoy-no-fun-moral-mortal' side of the family.
Same here!
For a girl her age, Tabitha seems to fully understand the seriousness of what she's done despite self-defense.
well she's done this twice before.
I had bullies on school and I wished I had tabs powers only I would have turned them into something way worse than a frog
I've always thought all the episodes revolving around Tabitha were lowkey so funny.
Samantha ,so pretty , so lady like , loved that show !
Yes, punching him in the nose or kicking him in the shins would have been more ladylike. 🤣
IKR! 🤣🤣🤣
😂
How about saying "Oh, fudge!!!"
😂😂😂
This line predicted the future
I would have left him in the terrarium. Lol
It's too bad Elizabeth Montgomery didn't want to continue the show. Tabitha and Adam would have become child stars in their own right.
Go Tabatha!
One of my favorite shows of all times...years have passed, I am a mom and still enjoy Bewitched 😉
Yeah she probably took the wrong frog and the kid is in the classroom🐸
Hmmm...I wonder. www.dailymotion.com/video/x7nk4z5 (the video is "flipped", so it might look a bit odd)
She did
@@deannaroberson8012 That is the real reason why the spell did not work.
Oh I love what Endora did. All men should be able to feel the aches and pains of pregnancy and understand what their wife is going through. My cousins wife had morning sickness all 9-months and the symptoms got worse to the point where the site of food made her sick.
Hi Annie. the episode must have moved forward to put your comment on the wrong one. Better copy and paste it.
Tabitha is so sweet.
A huge welldone to Erin Murphy.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
And the fabulous Elizabeth Montgomery. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Excellent actress.
Dick Sargent respect. 🙏🏻
Liz changed her hair and into minis for that more liberated 70s chick
It's Miss. Birch from Tabitha's Nursery School!😂😂😂
She was also in the Season 2 episode (Samantha's allergic to black Peruvian rose). Darrin tried to take the ostrich feather from her hat and winds up at the police station.
She must have gotten married and got a new last name; but seriously, who would marry a tyrannical "beyotch" like her?
She was the mother nature....
I remember that lady playing Miss Burch (Tabitha’s nursery school teacher) from season 5. This episode, she is Mrs, Peabody,.
Some shows use the same actor or actress to play different characters.

Lol!😆
You're smart mommy!!! You only needed one guess!!!! Lol!!!!!!!!!!!
God Bless Elizabeth Montgomery she filled so many of my dreams
Hold up, did she just call Tabitha a "Frog Freek" 😲 sweety go ahead and turn your teacher into a frog too. The sub will teach you some real science tomorrow, starting with the classic biology lesson on how to dissect a frog 🐸
Also solid parenting advice "kick him, punch him in the nose" "aww but mom that's no fun, I'm a witch who can turn bullies into frogs. The world is now a much better place."
And it's freak not freek* and never hurt others unless they're human in which case in some cases

That's the same Teacher from Tabatha's nursery School
Love these old shows
Yes I wonder if they had the same teacher for all the school years

Naw... I'm not gonna turn a bully into a frog...I'm gonna make that person hallucinate on a regular basis til they end up in a psych ward.

In real life there were two Tabithas played by twins. In high school, one was the Validvictorian & a lesbian, the other was straight, popular & a blonde Cheerleader. My Big Sister was popular and knew them both...Ironically my sister looked exactly like the younger Tabitha pictured in this video when we were little.
Sam looked fantastic with age.
Brings back memories of classrooms in the past. I miss those desks and chalkboards.
Charlton the Bullfrog. 😂
I imagine Endora would have been so proud of her granddaughter!!! But Samantha taught her that with great powers comes great responsibilty.
Elizabeth was so beautiful
The person who stands up to a bully is the one who is always punished.
What’s so funny I’ve seen most of all of bewitched at least I thought I did I love this little clip it’s so cute
Agreed!
That teacher is a bully when she said you are the first frog freek
i wished i had wishcraft to turn any bully and mean girls into toads.. i had them through PE Math and lunch time.
What I would have been able to do with witchcraft powers when I was a kid.
I shudder to think !!
With you on that. There would have been a number of bullfrogs for sure.
I like hearing the back ground music from the Brady Bunch occasionally on Bewitched just listen for it.😊
This Darrin is not very good. It's like he's abusive...He was always treating Samantha with contempt, never liked him.
I agree
Agreed. I like Dick York, bfar better.
he is hateful and had no sexual chemistry with Sam
I liked the first Darrin better too.
Dick York being replaced in my opinion is partly why the show tanked.
Loved Bewitched.
I love bewitch ❤. You could always count on a lot of laughs 😊. Tabatha was very adorable 🙂
Weeding out the weak! Love it!!
God, she look great in that outfit and this haircut
Samantha and Tabitha are both wearing green.
They are both Irish.
And so is Adam.
@@ameliadiaz8040 did you that adam's real life father was actor Tony Curtis?
Green is associated with witches. The color choice was intentional
@@humps678 I didn't know that.
wow Samantha is hot. Umm, I was waiting for a plot twist in this; I knew Tab's picked up the wrong frog as it was predictable, but when Tab's use her magic to turn the frog back, because it was the wrong frog, I would have expected the Frog to turn into a Prince, then have a Prince running around trying to charm Samantha while they try to get the right frog to un-magic the bully, then turn the Prince back into a frog, or Sam's mother turns up and the Prince runs off with her.
Tabitha sure showed him
If I had her ability there would have been a lot of frogs for me
Some parents teach their kids to be bullies. Some people it's more like they are part of the animal kingdom than the human.
David...unfortunately, parents teach their kids through their own behavior. Not all parents have had good examples in their upbringing on parenting and some even don't have both parents in the household (some step parents are good, but let's face it most don't really care when they're not their own).
It's part of growing up. I used to mess with girls a lot when I was little. When they would get mad and say strike me I thought I was the victim. I had no idea what I was doing was wrong. Part of it was other kids treated me the same way and I thought it was normal.
you don't know YOUR words - game or g'o'y'i'm - means alive or animal [in Latin - with a soul or anima]. Game means wild beasts to be hunted by 'gentle harmless' dzhevvz that have said to themselves that they would inherit the earth after they'll have dealt with predatory ... G'o'y'i'm - [the game, wild animals, the alive] - they mean 'us'.
I had a teacher in the 70's that looked like Tabitha's teacher, except she had glasses with a chain. She was known as the teacher that shook you, if you misbehaved. All the parent's condoned it, my mother would warn me to behave or I would get shook!
In my days we got spanked in front of the class in Grade 1. Her name was Mrs. Mannhein. Also, they were allowed to hit your knuckles with a ruler, belt you, cane you, Stand in front of the class holding your arms out and being forced to hold erasers which seemed like hours on end in that position. When you got home you were beating again by the belt. My days children were abused and made to be angry and silenced.
@@Umbrellaoflove Yeah, after I left civilization (NY) I was introduced to the IDEA of this physical brutality but luckily they never tried to apply it: I wouldn't have put up with it (in NY the violence was outside).

What about dealing with foul-mouthed bullies?
Well, that's something. If you had asked me, i would have said Tabitha was not more than two or three years old when the show ended. I had no idea it went on this long.

I would have liked to have seen how Small Wonder - Vicky would have dealt with that bully!!!! Lol!!!!!
Sending a cab to his house sounds like fun.
They used both blue and green screen. Maybe someone out there can explain the difference. I think when Esmarelda walked into a scene wearing only her clothes appearing with no body, I think that was a blue screen effect. I think green screen is used when size differences are needed, as in SAMANTHA AND THE BEANSTALK where the giant is made to look very large without having to build a special set, as was done in the fifth season's first edpisode to make Darrin look small. They may also have used a camera effect, too.
Erin Murphy actually mentions that BEWITCHED was one of the first to use green screen. It's common now. I think they use it now in news and weather broadcasts.
Again, perhaps someone knows about the process. BEWITCHED was one of the first series to be a heavy user of special effects, thus no live audience. To dangerous. Their special effects director once said that the unit had to be extremely careful for safety and insurance reasons.
The result, a classic and beloved TV series that lives on.
Thank you for the explanation!😁
As a concept, the show was.also cutting edge, as the witchcraft aspect lateralled one into consideration of immortality, graduations of power and other metaphysicals, as well as plenty of nonconformity issues.
thanks for the memory of this show dig it
Tabitha was cute, and she had magic, but she lacked self-awareness at times.

That's how my school life always Is I stand up for myself I get In trouble I stand up for a friend I get In trouble. The moment I graduated I never look back. I can't recall how many times I got suspended for what I think Is right.
School administrators or whatever they call themselves suck they always side with the bully. They give you some scientific explanation of why the bully the way he or she Is and make you look like the bad person.
Not everyone notices when the blame gets shifted from a toxic person to an innocent person. Usually they judge them both equally, or blame the innocent person. It takes a very perceptive person to realize that a bully tormented an innocent person who reacted normally and the innocent person gets punished for reacting normally. Most people aren’t smart enough to see that.
U nfortunately this very true and it makes me very angry. I would make the administrators acomplises for defending the bully.
A frog isn't a frog lol
