- This is a review of my very first Sig Sauer pistol. I been wanting a p200 series Sig Sauer for the longest time now. Finally got my hands on one, even though she is older I can honestly say Ive always had thing for cougars. And this cougar is bad bitch and she's mine.
#sigsauer #p229 #EDC
i just picked up this exact pistol the other day. Serial number starts with ak so im guessing early to mid 90s. a friend of mine is a retired border patrol office who was issued this pistol and believes in the 40 and alot of sherrifs deputies in my area also choose the 40. Youve definitely got a fine pistol there no doubt. I dont get how people down this round but for me its perfect and does what its intended just fine. Really enjoyed your video. Keep it up man
T2Raw, I know that u are very happy to beable to get ur hands on it/and 6 mags. she should be a keeper. lv those grips..
I'm buying a 1997 sig P229 in 357sig. it came with 2 12 round mags and the case. my slide color is the FDE color. rubber grips. lv it..
Yeah she’s definitely a KEEPER. I definitely need a 357sig BARREL for versatility, maybe buy the original 229 grip but that’s about it. Yours sounds pretty nice, would love to see it.
It's hard to put in words, but when you shoot them, and when they both in your hands it makes sense... love how my sigs shoot, but the glock feels so much lighter on the hip
Yeah, I agree. The sig Sauer P200 series are pretty much obsolete at this point for everyday carry. While everything produced now is designed specifically for conceal carry, It wouldn’t make sense to carry a 229 year over my wife’s Glock 43x in today’s modern world. And that little fucker holds 15rds. I made sure I got her those PSA dagger micro Mags.
The 229 is still in production. Just not in .40 and .357 sig.
Absolutely, Last of a DYING BREED ❤️🔥
Tom Sawyer...
You've got the lighter 229 40sw slide. The legacy 229 40sw slide is bulkier/heavier, making it very top heavy.
Most people like that thick and heavy 229 Legacy slide though. Legacy 229 40sw slide doesn't have any serial number, and the finish is more durable and slicker/darker looking.
I didn’t know there was a difference, Thanks for pointing that out.
No he doesn't. It looks exactly like my 1995 Sig 229. And if ya want to find out manufacturers date the serial number starts with A another letter. The first year was 1992 and was AB, 1993 AC, and so on. Nice pistol don't believe all the comments. And you can fact check me if ya want
FYI- you attempted to cover the serial number but there is a number printed on the barrel. Both should match barrel and the frame. I own a 9mm barrel Made in USA frame in Germany
FYI - it’s called a “side” I only attempted to cover the serial numbers so my camera & viewers could focus in on what I trying to show. Could’ve just said “ Hey, I have the 9mm version” nice video & kept it moving. You YT critics are hysterical. 😅😂🤣😮💨
Noice...its sig sour...not sig sawyer...😊
Tomato , Tamota lol 😂🤣😂 👍🏾
@@T2Raw_no, it really is the German pronunciation, this isn't an accent issue. the "au" in German is like "loud" in English, and then "er". So sauer is pronounced like "power".
Great gun you have there. I'm probably going to get one too!
For the real history of the P229 and the .357 SIG round, look elsewhere.
How bout YOU make a video for us all 👀
You were doing good till you came out with the glock, the ugly gun although glock is a good gun.
I’m still doing good brother ❤️🔥✌🏾
