That 64 bit update really was amazing! This sword looks cool though but a bit underpowered compared esp to Bushwhacka...
It only takes one less swing to kill a heavy though. Im not sure if being at 63 health or lower would justify that little damage to be honest, but i understand its more of a last resort sorta thing

@@certifiedmoron6348 How? Being at low health doesn't help you reach any meaningful damage thresholds to kill in fewer swings, while being at high health means you will basically always take more swings to kill an enemy.
It serves basically no purpose whatsoever. Unless you're fighting a Spy that is specifically between 66 and 81 HP AND you're low health, AND you're not using an SMG or Jarate, AND you don't want to simply use the Shiv and keep them away... What exactly is the Shahanshah doing to help?
I suppose maybe... maybe if you get a random crit on a max-health Soldier or Eyelander Demo with multiple heads? I suppose?
Seriously, that is the most plausible scenario I could come up with. Outside of simply gaslighting yourself into thinking you won a scenario (let alone multiple scenarios) because of its upside, while not having even more scenarios where its downside screwed you over, I truly can't think of a reason anyone would think highly of this thing.
@@Ryusuta stock kukri + a single bodyshot = 115. shahansha low hp + bodyshot = 131. this means that you can easily kill any light class that is fighting you with a hit and a quick switch to the rifle. i have around 500 hours on sniper and i can confidently say this thing had saved me countless times. not to mention the low health random crit which can one shot a full head demo and a soldier. if youre using a melee chances are its a last resort, this isnt supposed to be the go to weapon in close quarters combat
@@certifiedmoron6348 So, your strat involves being able to get a melee swing and body shot in after taking damage from a light class but before being finished off. If you're going to do that, you might as well use the Shiv and not be required to take damage.
Realistically, the only 125 class you're going to be regularly engaging in melee range with is the Spy (MAYBE Scout), and the Shiv at least gives more utility against them. Unless you're spending all of your time sniping right next to a healthpack AND getting killed before they bleed out, the whole "taking damage" part of the equation is a liability.
I'll grant that a random crit against a 4-Heads Demoknight is nice. IF you're at low health and IF you can get the swing in against his better move speed and melee range and IF the swing is a crit and IF the Demoknight is at full HP already. In that extremely specific scenario, I'll grant you the Shahanshah is useful. If you're meleeing Soldiers, chances are they either Trolldiers or are bombing you in general. And in the case that a Trolldier misses you AND you're at low health AND you get a crit AND they didn't take any fall damage which would make a Kukri crit kill them anyway, then maybe that might work as well. In which case, I suppose we should call the Shahanshah "The Hightower Strat" from now on.

Nope that’s the Shiv. This is a decent weapon it’s just hard to use.
@@Spanishdog17Shiv atleast has a niche and somewhat unique use for sniper, Shahanshah is outright useless since a sniper who has less than half hp is pretty much one shot, it's gimmick entirely relies around a random crit. Random crit with the stock is just as good anyway since 195 damage is still a lot
