    I'd like to see a version of this that actually has some tubes in the pre-amp section and also has a separate three band eq per channel.

    Looks like a cool amp. What's the point of the reverb stomp switch? Does anyone step on or off their reverb during a performance or between songs?

    Any news on UK prices please? Also, I’m guessing the power adapter needed is bigger than the pedal in order to power the 60watts (which no one needs as we all play silent stages now)…… ;-)

    Good product, but what makes this pedal twice the price of the Loudpedal foundry? The only obvious difference is the in-built reverb. Can you explain why this is so much more expensive, please?

      @dietmarschuller3963 Před 28 dny

      Ok, this has an additional USB-C port, so you can use this as an interface. You have an editor, you can load your own cabinet IRs, and there is midi.

    • @ronengel4586
      @ronengel4586 Před měsícem +1

      As I understand it these amps use transistors or IC’s which are analogue, ie no digital conversion and not dsp’s which are computer chips that are used to process audio in many SS amps such as a katana or tonemaster

    For my taste much too expensive, if I consider, that I also get a good two-channel all tube amp in this price range.
    The basic idea itself is not bad, but the price is much too high for a tubeless (pre-)amp and I also am no fan of Class D power amps. They do not affect the tone in any way, as a real tube power amp does or only negative.
    Also, if it uses cab IR's, they have to be placed after the preamp section at line level, so this circuit makes even less sense to me.
    But obviously my ideas of a great amp sound and the ones of Laney anyway differ a lot. My all tube gear gives me better tones and most of it was even cheaper.
    I also do not know a Tom Quayle or Martin Miller, for me they never wrote or played any iconic songs or solos, which wrote guitar history, so why should they then deserve some signature gear? What for? For being on CZcams, because they cannot live from their music in reality.
    They both certainly are no new Hendrix, Beck, Van Halen or Satriani, so who cares? No unexpected musical innovations or uniqueness, just some more under some thousand others, which sound in the same way boring and exchangeable, but without any outstanding musical message. Maybe technically good, but if you have nothing serious or new to tell, this does not count for me.

    • @1man1guitarletsgo
      @1man1guitarletsgo Před měsícem +1

      CZcams influencers are the new celebrities, and while these guys may not have written or played iconic songs (I don't know; maybe they have), they're known to millions of potential customers, so it makes sense for manufacturers to take advantage of this.
      I like the idea of the Loudpedal, and while I too like the sound of a real valve amp (I have a Laney LC30 II and a Fender BDR), I don't like their weight. Without comparing a Loudpedal into a cab alongside a valve amp into the same cab, I don't think it's possible to make comparisons, whatever prejudices we may have about Class D amps.

    • @HEZ63
      @HEZ63 Před měsícem

      @@1man1guitarletsgo ok, I accept you point of view, but for me my JMP-1, V-Twin or Kaluna II as preamps still sound better, if combined with my favorite cab IR's, if I then still add my power scalable (0.5 W to 40W) tube power amp, which equally well works with 6V6, 6L6GC, 5881, EL84 or KT77 tubes, even more. So why should I then change to a completely tubeless solution instead, which does not sound better, but worse and also is less flexible? Makes no sense to me, sorry.

    • @HEZ63
      @HEZ63 Před měsícem

      @@1man1guitarletsgo Ok, agreed, but this does not necessarily mean, that the final tones are much better.

    • @1man1guitarletsgo
      @1man1guitarletsgo Před měsícem

      @@HEZ63 If the sound is not as good as a valve amp, but is _acceptable,_ then the light weight and small size will tip the balance in favour of the Loudpedal for many gigging guitarists. If it turns out that the sound isn't really good enough, then we'll stick with our amps. This kind of technology is getting better, though, and I suspect the Loudpedal will be a big seller, and well received by guitarists.

    • @HEZ63
      @HEZ63 Před měsícem

      @@1man1guitarletsgo I am an all tube gear guy and I also dislike pedalboards, so this solution does not improve much for me, quite the opposite. My real all tube gear simply sounds better, even the preamps alone.
