I'm 24 and I find it disheartening that many of my peers choose...let me say it again....choose...to not vote at all because they are dissatisfied with the options. They have choices and rather make no choice at all proving exactly what? I'm not sure. I've had conversations with friends who aren't eager/concerned to vote and their reasoning is a mix of two things, 1. None of the terrible events they have heard, seen on social media have happened/affected them (yet) and 2. They simply don't care because it circles back to number 1. I know there are many, millions, of people that have empathy towards the people who are in distress because of horrid decisions and backtracking that won't protect them but there are just as many people who only wait for it to show up at their front door and it'll be too late. The polling questions are quite misleading in general. Also, if people think Trump is more competent then facts are irrelevant to those taking polls or potentially winning the election. Why do we get made when politicians aren’t living in our reality yet we act on polls outside of facts.
