- If you've been waiting until May 2 to be part of the excitement of Big Day of Giving, your wait is over. Today is the day to donate and make a difference!
Great news! Thanks to the generosity of TWO Matching Gifts, your donation will be TRIPLED up to $8,000! We have great appreciation for the James and Susan McClatchy Fund and the Sacramento History Alliance Board of Directors for supporting of the Sacramento History Museum and our mission to share the region's history and the stories of our community.
Over the last few years we have reached an international audience on social media becoming the most followed museum in the world on CZcams and TikTok. One of our followers, Jakob Sandberg, a communications and media student at the University of Maryland chose our museum for his nonprofit class project. Thank you Jakob for the outstanding Big Day of Giving video!
Thank you to everyone who gifted early and for those who are donating today. We appreciate your support and the opportunities you provide us to share our region's rich history through stories from the community.

Congratulations!!! A celebration is certainly in order
This is such a fantastic channel. I've been inspired by all your hard work to look around my local museums here in Dublin Ireland to see what similar programmes exist here. So far a lot of them seem to be geared toward older schoolkids and students but I'm keeping an eye out :)
You guys are awesome!
Ya love to see it! God bless you guys ❤🔥
keep the good work going man congratulations!!!
Congrats. In my case you are successful is because you are interesting, educational and over entertaining. Don't change.
❤
I like it when older folks "just don't get it," but they can't deny that it's pretty great. Not all new things are bad. 😉
Thank you Howard and Jared for all you do and inspiring us on different cuts on the table and the great history you teach us at the same time has really inspired me to teach other people about the same history you taught me and the history of all the equipment. Thank you Very Much and keep up the great work you guys do and God Bless You
