    Bike looks awesome. I like the personal touches like the front fender, number plate and the black rims. Cant wait to get started on my dual 89 CR250 builds.

      The 1989 is a great year! Love the all red. You thinking of staying with the stock rims? I have seen guys do gold rims and looks really good.

      @@CharlieFerer The plan on My 250 that i keep is to leave it up to the viewers. i am going to give color options and what ever the highest vote is i will go with that. I will do the complete bike like that except for the graphics kit. i have a special plan for that. The oem 250 will remain as stock as i can make it while trying to stay within a reasonable budget.

    This was my favorite year of the factory bikes look in the 90's. I do prefer the silver wheels. I always liked the shroud graphic going through the tank and killing into the seat. I had a 92 250 and it was fast. I rode a friends 93 and it was night and day better than the 92 because of the handling. I could ride the 93 so much faster. From what I remember the 93 frame is what McGrath stuck with through out his tenure at Honda.

      Congratulations on the bike! Clark makes good tanks, but you want to get the factory size. I am not a fan of the oversize tanks. They may have some in stock. Otherwise, there is a company that makes aluminum tanks for the bikes that does a really good job and they are around $450. I did a review of one of the tanks in one of my more recent videos that is posted.

      Thanks buddy yes I seen your video on the aluminum tanks. I might have to go with one on my 86 500 exhaust kind of melted a little bit of it. I’m not sure if it’s still good I don’t I really don’t like oversize tanks at all but I was just wondering, how close they were to OEM I think I can still save my 95s tank can you jsend me the link if you can or I can check them out thanks Charlie you’re the man I appreciate all your v advice and help.

      @@mikeguliz this is a smaller one for a 2986 cr 500. I would get this because the 86 tank stock is larger than needed.

    4:13 those aren't even Showa Forks they are Kayaba. Wrong Seat, wheels, fender etc. Not really a McGrath replica at all really except maybe some of the stickers and some of those aren't even accurate. It's a 95 too, Jeremy rode a 93 for his entire time on Honda 250s.

    • @CharlieFerer
      @CharlieFerer  Před 8 měsíci

      I was not going for an exact replica Mr Jesse James. I know all that you mentioned but I did not build as an exact replica. I built it for me and what I wanted with the replica flair of McGrath. You do not have to like it.
