Several have been asking about wiring the fog lights so here we go. Today we wire up the fog lights in the slammed sierra. This process will actually work on silverado, yukon, sierra, denali, Tahoe and any vehicle you want. I know I could have reflashed the BCM and used the factory fog light switch but I hate taking my truck to the dealer. Employees at the dealership don't care for your vehicle plus it would be a minimum of $90 for the flash. I decided to do my own switch and am very happy with the outcome. I am picky so I wanted it to look as factory as possible. I did list the part for a factory install if you want to use all GM part for your fog light install on a NBS.

That switch is better than factoru b/c you can leave it on all the time if you want. Factory you have to turn them on all the time you restart the truck. I'd run some silicone on the back of those fog light LED wires where they run through the cooling fins. With your truck it may not be a problem, but in my 06 Yukon when I'd go off road and drive through some streams and shallow lakes the intensive water splashing would leak through the grommet and into the fog light. Silicone solved my problems.

Nice video, I would have went with a 3 way switch and taken the power to the relay from the headlights to one way and constant to the other. This way, you can have the fog lights either on with the headlights, off or on constant whether anything else is on or not. I have the factory switch on my Yukon and hate that you have to turn the fog lights on every time you turn the truck on. Do you know a hack to have these stay on. They are the same as most factory start/stop feature that drives everyone nuts. I am sure you know what I mean, your Tahoe is probably the same way. Do a video on that if you figure it out.

    • @TWAMotorsports

On those it's a switch that talks to the bcm. You could probably bypass it for constant fog lights on. The way mine is wired if the key is on and switch is on fog lights are lit. It doesn't matter if the lights are on or not.

Again I want to say thank you because I did everything you said, but where I was messing up I did not have any connection to my accessory wire. I figured that out and as soon as I got a good connection fog lights on. So thank one more time.

Hey man I’m having an issue on my 2001 Silverado where my low beams and my high beams will not turn on. My relay and my fuses for them is all good and they were working perfectly fine but now they will turn on work for a few days then back to neither working. I was wondering if you had any idea of the cause of this?

Press the dome override 4 times on headlight switch. If that doesn't help may need a new switch
