      It really starts to eliminate people in between 40 and 70, usually the Girls got out from 30-60 while the Guys got out 50-80.

    You don’t have to warm up before this. It starts out slow, almost a walk, and gradually speeds up. So part of the pacer test is the warm up.

    From lap 106 I know this is the 20m because in the 15m, 123 is the end of level 10. But here, it shows 106 is the end of level 11. A higher amount of laps for a lower level means this is the longer version: 20m.

      It's not the longer version. The standard version. When all these people say that they got well over 100 they did the 15th with the 20 m audio meaning they had to run 15 m but they were given the amount of time that the 20 m was allotted because 20 m is default

    POV You run track and cross-country so you overdo the test then regret it later because after school you have to run sprints or run 7 miles (depending if it is fall or winter) so then the day of the race comes and you have to force yourself through the pain

    My gym teacher makes us run 15 basketball courts for this one. If 1/4 of 4 CLASSES walk we run it again. He says “if it’s lazy we do it again” we get 3 min breaks in between 15 but it’s also first thing in the morning. We usually run around 35-50 laps then we walk the field

    The multi-stage fitness test (MSFT), also known as the beep test, bleep test, PACER (Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run), PACER test, FitnessGram PACER test, or the 20 m Shuttle Run Test (20 m SRT), is a running test used to estimate an athlete's aerobic capacity (VO2 max).
    The test requires participants to run 20 meters back and forth across a marked track keeping time with beeps. Every minute or so, the next level commences: the time between beeps gets shorter; participants must run faster. If a participant fails to reach the relevant marker in time, they are cautioned. A second caution ends the test for that runner. The number of shuttles completed is recorded as the score of that runner. The score is recorded in Level.Shuttles format (e.g. 9.5). The maximum laps on the PACER test is 247,[1] which former Central Middle School student Dennis Mejia achieved,[2] the only person to ever reach such a level.
    The test is used by sporting organizations around the world along with schools, the military, and others interested in gauging cardiovascular endurance, an important component of overall physical fitness. The multi-stage fitness test is also part of most health-related fitness test batteries for children and adolescents, such as Eurofit,[3] Alpha-fit,[3] FitnessGram[4][3] and ASSOFTB.[5]
    The multi-stage fitness test was first described by Luc Léger[6] with the original 1-minute protocol, which starts at a speed of 8.5 km/h, and increases by 0.5 km/h each minute. Other variations of the test have also been developed, where the protocol starts at a speed of 8.0 km/h and with either 1 or 2-minute stages, but the original protocol is nevertheless recommended.[7] The test appears to encourage maximal effort by children.     In freshman year HS everybody has to take PE for a semester, and I was (and am) a long distance track and XC runner. I usually hit around 100-130 but usually there was 1-2 kids, typically JROTC kids that lasted longer. Only once was I the longest. .

    People saying that they got around 150+ is usually because their school didn't do the test properly. Spencer actually measured the distance correctly, so he was running farther each rep than most people do. When I was in high school I would get to 100+ consistently and some other kids would get to around 120 or so.(Pretty sure the length wasn't correct) Idk how it makes sense to any person saying that they did more than 130 when Spencer can run a 400m mile and 800m faster than any kid taking those pacer test.

    I’m in 7th grade a kid in my class did 112 laps and we were like bro wtf. Me and another class share the same gym, we’re weightlifting, and the class with the kid who did it are in normal PE.
