but who will win, the fire fighter, the U.S marine, or the or the 5th grader who wears neon Nike everyday?
BAHAHA đđ
Low key what my bully {I guess you could call him a bully he picks in me so-} but he wear freaking neon Nike Every. Single. Day.
YOYOdraws LOL THATS ME. I ALWAYS win in races cuz Iâm the fastest in my whole school. Thatâs hilarious. But the thing is, I donât have endurance and I am not food at long distances, so I only get 80s on the pacer which isnât bad, but other people who are good at endurance get better. Suddenly Iâm no longer the fastest kid in my school just because I donât have endurance? Makes no sense
Boys who are mean to you in elementary/early middle school might just like you, they don't know how to flirt yet. Also just bully him back, he won't expect it. Try insulting his clothes, hair, or face next time he does something to you. It doesn't even matter what you say or if it makes sense as long as it's embarrassing to him.

The marine was a body builder and the other was focused on being in shape. Bodybuilders donât usually do cardio

You could kinda tell the marine wasnât gonna win, because she had more muscle mass, which isnât a bad thing, but for running long distance itâs not the best thing to have.

Sofia Colvin damn what sports do/did you play? I'm in 8th grade right now and my highest was like a forty
I like how the guy is really impressed and then everyone in the comments is just roasting them.
Everyone has done this test from like elementary school to high school. "Try to get 30." We had to do like ~45 as a minimum. Some kids go really high.
And everyone knows proper technique, aka you don't run the first level! You don't need to! He was saying they were pacing themselves but they were not! That is too quick for the first rounds.
I was certainly expecting them to to better than school-age kids and teens.
They should redo this test: marine, firefighter, and two highschoolers (one who makes it to the average/near the bare minimum, and one who goes to 100+).
And then we all get to watch these grown adults get schooled by kids who actually know how to do this test.
Also I'm surprised that the comment section isn't filled with the beginning part of the audio (which if they redo this they really need to play in full because that's part of the Pacer Test Experienceâą)
We used to fuck around and naruto run or some shit in the beginning
At my school they dont let us walk the first few. We have to do at least a light jog
Here's a key difference, they dont know the technique because no one in the firefighting force or USMC runs a measly pacer test run. Highschoolers know the "pace" because thats the only test they can get used to.
USMC are trained to run miles. Firefighers have to run everywhere, with hoses, gear and people on their back.
Sure, if they actually "slowed down" they'd probably outdo most highschool althetes, but thier sense of urgency from years in thier careers take over. Im pacing myself as a poolee to run miles, but I even bet you I would mess up pacing myself for a measly pacer test that I did 5 years ago.
Now is it important to pace yourself? Yes, but a varying level that's constanly increasing may not be ideal for most people in these careers compared to highschoolers. I could be wrong but that's my take on it.
â@@Daniel-tt5nc Yea that makes sense. One definitely needs experience with a Pacer Test to understand the strategies, and highschoolers have taken it enough to have learned these techniques.
I just thought it was kinda funny that they said they were doing great, when really if they were equipped with the proper strategies they'd probably do a lot better.
@@aSlimyDragon Yep, its basically guesswork for them the same as a middleschooler doing the test for the first time.

Fun fact:
The fitness gram Pacer test is a multistage aerobic capacity test, that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The twenty meter Pacer test will begin in thirty seconds; line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly and gets faster each minute after you hear this sound. A single lap should be completed each time you hear this signal. Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The test will begin on the word start. On your marks, get ready, *start*.

The firefighter isnât even tired! Sheâs crazy fit.
The firefighter was conserving her energy at first so i think thats why ahe lasted longer
stephany the marine was also carrying a lot more weights
Why he just now telling her to watch her feet when she been passed the line the whole damn time đđ
so not in the mood who said there were rules?
@@bigmanbigman2544 he did by tell her repeatedly her foot shouldn't be across the line. Meaning she had to be behind the line. After the beep. Just because he didn't clearify it was a rule on video doesn't mean he didn't tell them off camera.
so not in the mood marine wouldâve lost anyways
@@bigmanbigman2544 o.k.
so not in the mood still did more and went above and beyond so who cares. Mind ya business.
Him: itâs a lot harder than you think
Anyone in school: yah you think, we have to do this twice or more a school year for a grade.
Thxsm much for 3k likes (3-13-20)
Try once a week for 3 years
Try once a week for all elmentry middle school and high school
Madi Roden lol we donât have to do the pacer in elementary and u donât have to do gym in high school
I have done it 4 times this year
we did this once a week.
It was really nice and supportive of the other girl to continue running with her
I knew the Marine was going to lose as soon as I saw her heel striking for a majority of the fitness gram pacer test. There is no way in hell she was in trackđ
WHEM Equestrians itâs a way ppl run where when they step their heel hits the ground first. Basically what Carlos is saying is that her running technique is really bad which is why he predicted that she was gonna lose
WHEM Equestrians it also gives people really bad chin splints
Lol she probably ran cross country and not track because you need your toes to hit the ground first when you sprint. In cross country you mid-foot strike so you balance out the force of which your foot hits the ground, minimizing foot pain. But personally I didnât heel strike when I was in cross country I only did heel strikes when I was doing long strides
EDIT: sorry I meant mid-foot striking
@@qwertyuiop1854 in my first two months of track I was heel striking and then I pulled my hamstring and it got messed up. It was only then when I realized you should be midfoot striking
@@qwertyuiop1854 I do long distance btw so it's the best balance without injury and is more optimal
Him: itâs harder then it looks Middle school boys: *does 69 laps
Rin jaeger they weigh wayyy less and the gym is so small they do like half the gym how couldnât you get 69
School students*
Jylian 8 I said boys because at my school the girls purposely do one lap and stop while the boys go as much as they can
I donât thing anyone of yâall get the dum joke part of this đ
Speedy gaming the test in middle school is 20 meters, this was 20 yards. Your point?
Firefighter: âI put out fires I donât know what she can doâ US Marine: Bi*** I kill people
light rl imagine thinking every service member kills lol
Yeah not all marines kill theres like 2,000 jobs.
Firefighter: Saves lives
@@NauatPrincesa I'm an actual volunteer, we perform fire, rescue and medical calls, even hazardous materials. There's a lot more to it than just plain garbage fires.
@@Ghost88890REAL I agree. I was an EMT/Firefighter. You can add wild land fires to that list. Overall both jobs are honorable.

No way in hell everyone in this comment section got â70-90â wtf I gave up mid 20s mid 30s
On the pacer I got 80 and Iâm like 70 is an A for boys
@@johnmayor419 70 that's all? The highest in my school was like 127, all the track kids get 100s easily.
Ok so literally there's a freshman this year who got 100
Taylor T thatâs sad our highest is 115 although I drop out 20-30
Michael Brittingham bruh id dip after 7
Everyoneâs talking about their averages being in the 20s +

I got like 55 in 5th grade so idk what you guys talking about đł
The guy talking is kind of annoying he just repeats the audio like just be quiet
EXACTLY! Like can you please shut up!
He doesn't seem very good at commentary.
People on here saying "I do more" but do you save lives? Both these women have and probably continue to put their life's on the line, so umm yea props to both of them! 30, 50, 70 laps is a lot! Especially with all that muscle mass that is probably triple what 75% of you have "running" you 60, 100 laps...
The women you bring on here to do the different challenges are so beautiful, confident and an example! Thank you for bringing them on âĄ
âYâall try this at home to do 30â ......all elementary school kids can do 30+ đ
Haylee S um not me
I was a fat ass child so no-
Haylee S lies, I canât make it past 12
Haylee S lmfao i never made it past 13
Haylee S i did 82đ€Ș
I meeeaaaaan the firefighter didnât fully cross the line like 8 times
You only have to put one foot over
Also every time started with her foot over the line
Yooo, I thought I was the only one who saw that. I personally think everyone should be behind the line at all times
Red shoes is a habitual line stepper
And the firefighter did like a ton more, so.....
I knew immediately the firefighter was going to win because the marine brought up track which is speed based not endurance based.
For a sprint, yeah but for long distance it takes up a lot of endurance.
Uhhhh track uses endurance, she never said what event she did.
Exactly
as a cross country runner, I learned on these pacer tests that stopping, turning, and starting again actually took more energy then just a continuous run. Iâd just run in a skinny oval instead of stoppingđ

solveig marie dude you only have to do it twice a year? our school does it once a week Ur so lucky what the heck
Shea Brenna right!!
i've never had to do it in my life and i'm in highschool
We did it towards the end of the first semester and beginning of our second semester twice a week we didnât do it towards February and March of this year but we still keep up by competing with the 6th graders in our class.
We had to at least get a few ahead or 1 above our last timeâs laps. It was pretty much a failure because I had a cold so I dropped from 26 to 12-14 because of that cold. I failed that week but decided to bring my grade up another way. But yeah, thatâs my school
Shea Brenna Bro how?! We do it on the second month of school, and the second last month-
"Sonya- what she don't know is I did track
