    Mufti, after seeing your explanation wallahi I cried from the depth of my heart as my mother has died recently (last year). She couldn't see me get hurt even if its my hair. 😭
    May Allah swt grants you and your family Sabar e Jameel & Ajar e Azeem to your mother as you're a Sadaqah e Jariya for her.

    Sallam Abu Layton, God forgive me but this saying doesn’t ring true for me. The Holy Prophet (saw) wept when his son Ibraheem passed away, and I also read somewhere that tears of love/loss water the garden of our loved ones in paradise. In life we drift along comfortably numb as the song goes, but death comes along and a volcano of covered/ buried emotion wells up, Abdullah Yusuf Ali the wonderful Quran translator says in his introduction that the inner storms are fiercer by far than the external storms life throws at us. He only found relief/comfort from his suffering in his dear Quran May Allah comfort us all as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, but of course that is the reason the psalms and all the scriptures are sent to us to comfort us when Gods shatters us.

    Once a person dies, their connection with this world is severed . The question is , from where did the prophet get this knowledge of life after death as nothing as such is mentioned in the quran which is the only source of divine guidance.

      So there's no life after death?

    • @amodabdulkader3163
      @amodabdulkader3163 Před 11 měsíci

      Absolutely is .The day of judgement in the afterlife. Once dead , the soul enters a state of suspended animation / barzakh during which all concept of time ceases to exist as well as consciousness, until the day of judgement.( people in this world who have been in a coma for say 50 years feel like they just slept yesterday when they awaken...just an eg to understand barzakh ....which btw ..we will never truly know.

      No issue giving salaam but obviously the deceased are not in the graves....Mere bodies that rot whikst soul is in state of " barzakh"....
      Entire concept of grave punishment etc is not found anywhere in quran .
