Absolutely gorgeous!! When you added the “pond”, I just jumped for joy. Thank you for explaining your decision making process - really makes it easier to understand not only what but why you are doing something!! Thank you for doing these videos.

Wonderful tutorial / demo. One thing that (in my opinion) makes your videos surpass other painting videos is that you don't do a "paint by number" or "same steps technique"; instead, you try new colors, and walk us through your thought process, change things as you paint and if you don't like something, you show us how you make corrections. This is priceless! I am used to phthalocyanine green (more transparent and potent than viridian, but also "unnatural" blue green) and alizarin permanent; once you get use to these, they make great neutralizers and desaturate other colors beautifully. I have boat loads of brushes and a large portion are Rosemary's. I actually have come to like the Princeton's over the Rosemary Ivory Synthetics. I occasionally find the stiffness of the Princeton Catalyst brushes useful once in a great while as well. Mostly I like the smaller Princeton Catalyst brushes on the rare occasion that I do a little drawing on the canvas en plein air, or the large ones for drawing in on large studio canvases. I change things constantly. Usually my block-in is simply transparent color fields for tone as well as rough placement.
