Hi Hina, thanks for asking. So it depends on the month of the year you are planning to visit. November and December (wedding and vacation season) it takes about 30-50 days to get a date if you check everyday time and again. But for times like March-July, it takes about 15-20 days to get a date since not everyone plans to visit during that time. Let me know if that answers your question.
Instead of all this, why doesn't USCIS just waive H1B Dropbox or give speedy approval to highly paid workers, I mean if a company is paying them so much, they are definitely important to the US economy
Hi In the Appomintment confirmation email it is mentioned as collect this copy of the letter back as acknowledgement. Did you collect it after submitting the documents?
In Hyderabad, US Visa consulate is straight inside from SP road and Gowra building is inside and first left. where do we need to go for drop-box appointment?
Go straight into that left and you’ll find a building at the end of the street. Usually there are barricades and a security guy to check your belongings and other stuff. Good luck!

If industrial engineering was an option to get into data science then why people's are preferring to have a degree cs/DA/ds? You've done your master's in IE at NEU. Which perhaps let you choose wide variety of courses(i'm not sure if they did). Was the industrial engineering curriculum same as the every other US universities ?

Hi, thanks for asking. 1. vaccinated travelers don’t need Covid test report to visit India. 2. Since November 2022, all unvaccinated travelers above 5 years are allowed. But for safe side since kid is not vaccinated, I’d suggest get a covid test within 72 hours and declare it in Air SUVIDHA form. 3. 72 hours from US to India if not vaccinated. 24 hours from India to US if not vaccinated.

Stem OPT papers are of no use once you get your H-1B documents. But for your sanity, please feel free to carry them with you on your appointment date 😊

Yes. You can chose any VAC location to drop off the documents. Once you confirm the date, there’s a final page where they show the places where there are other VAC locations where you can drop off the documents. Hope that helps. Thanks

Yes you are right. After you are done talking to the visa officer, they will hand it over that copy or else you can ask for it.

Hi Sandeep, apologies for the late reply. After April 2022, you don’t need Covid RTPCR test. Same applies to India to US travel as well.
