Is the employment verification letter same as the offer letter? I have never had an H1b before. I have my h1b to start a new job. This is why, I don't have an employment verification letter which says how much the employee is earning, their duties, etc. I have an official job offer letter which explains everything about overall compensation & managers, HRs associated with my position. Will that be enough?

I got my H1B approved (Form I-129, filed by MNC from India fresh) and I'm going through further processes for stamping.
I have not added my spouse's name in my passport .
Can I add my spouse's name in my passport now? If I do, my passport number will change (as per my understanding).

Instead of all this, why doesn't USCIS just waive H1B Dropbox or give speedy approval to highly paid workers, I mean if a company is paying them so much, they are definitely important to the US economy

It’s a common system for all the cities. It’s like you book a train ticket in Ahmedabad and they know not to assign the same seat to someone in Kanpur!
