Put the mushroom on one of your wood slabs and add some miniature fall Ghomes under it, like a gathering place also some miniature pumpkins. I think Ollie would love. If the pieces are small and possible choking hazard for him put it up high enough so he can’t reach but just admire, add some fairy lights! Would be cute on your piano or in kitchen hutch.🍄
I am dying ....he keeps putting everything back into the bins. He is so precious....I have 3 boys (now in their 20s) seeing Oliver makes me miss this precious age. Enjoy it they grow up so fast. Xo

Honestly, the living room decor works best the way it was before. It’s very cozy and just flows better. I agree, I don’t like having things too open because then it doesn’t feel cozy. I say leave it the way it was!
We love that you decided to leave your furniture in its original position! It is so cozy and really defines your spaces. Good choice! Please don't get rid of the piano! When those babies (we know there will be more to come :)) get big your home will be filled with so much joy as they learn to play.
I LOVE THIS NEW LIVING ROOM SETUP!
The changes I would make are to swap out the sofa and loveseat for each other's spots, (centering the loveseat in front of the window) and the tv center and the piano for each other's spots. I'm currently watching your next video, and see that you moved it all back again. PLEASE try it the way I suggested, I think you'll really LOVE it! I stage and decorate homes for a living, I really think it's for the best. It's literally ALL I can think about when I'm watching your videos.
Aww the mushroom 🍄 is adorable! I totally would’ve bought it also! I don’t associate mushrooms with drugs since I’ve never done drugs, I associate them with pizza, mushroom soup, and sautéed mushrooms over chicken.
I like your living room arranged this way also, it’s definitely cozier. The other way was so open and formal, as opposed to a cozy family area.
I have a collection of mushrooms as well as a embroidered piece I made in my teens. I love using them as decor!!!

One problem with the new furniture arrangement is that everyone will have to walk in front of the tv when they come thru the front door. I agree with you - the old arrangement was better!

You did it the best way! Shopping with NO kids! I had to take all FOUR with me since school hadn't started. 🫠 🫠 🫠 Awe Ollie running with the pillow helping. He's the cutest!! I'll have to see where an at home is near me. I think the closets one is 30 minutes-ish away, but I love seeing everything they have through everyone's videos! My TJMAXX still only has Halloween out. Idk why they don't have any Fall out yet, but I'll keep checking. I found a lot of good stuff at Hobby Lobby this year. 🍂

Love the video, I get all of my fall etc at the dollar store I put together several displays around the home and do my own flowers in vases it is budget friendly and looks nice. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hey Lauren, Happy Sunday. I love all of the fall decor you have picked out for your home. ❤ I have never been to at home before but it looks like a great place to find fall home decor. ❤ I like the open living room idea but it is your living room and you are allowed to decorate it how you want it. I feel like you’re a talented organizer and you can make any idea come to life and make it look good regardless. ❤ I just reorganized my whole kitchen the way I wanted it because it looked like a mess before and I hated how it looked before. I love chicken and dumpling they’re so good I have never had any until I met my husband. My mother in law makes the best chicken and dumpling it tastes so good I am definitely checking out this recipe. ❤ I love how you organize all of your fall decor into totes to keep track of everything that you have.
Hypothetically, if you kept your living room with that layout, you could put the Christmas tree on the wall where the piano is. But we know you don’t like that layout so it doesn’t matter. Lol.

I don't decorate alot for fall I put up a fall sign a pumpkin and some window clings you cam use every fall . I do decorate more during Christmas . Loved you fall haul and your video.
I think I’m going to start decorating next week! I’m off work for a few weeks and I want to get it done before I go back! I definitely don’t need anything new this year but I’ll probably go browse Hobby Lobby either tomorrow or Tuesday! I love to look even if I don’t buy anything! So excited for next weeks video! ❤
So glad that you put the furniture back the way it was. Open is not always the best lay out. I really felt like you lost too much space in the corner where the window is. Oliver made me laugh when he kept putting the decorations back in the container that you were trying to unpack. Lol. Everyone is starting to get their decorations out and I have one creator that I watch that has already started decorating, so now I’m getting in the spirit of fall.

Lauren we’re in North Texas & our Home Goods has very little fall but a ton of Halloween! 🤷🏻♀️ I don’t decorate for Halloween myself but I was shocked. I can understand why you didn’t like the furniture configuration. I have what I think is a great idea & once I do it I don’t like it. Trial and error, do what works for your family.
We just moved to another state, it has an at home, I have to behave myself 😂. Yea for fall 🎉
Keep your piano and show Oliver how to play. My son is 21 years old now and he is so thankful I taught him to play at a young age. The girls love that in a guy ❤

I’m so glad I’m not the only one that arranges furniture based on where the Christmas tree would go! 🤣 I even had that in my list for when we bought our house. I had to have a good place for the tree! Now I have 6!! 🫣

What a wonderful visit today. I felt the promise of cooling temperatures and colorful trees just by watching you unpack those totes!! Oliver was especially cute, taking stuff back to the totes after you took them out!! I could watch him all day. BTW I love the cozy living room much better than the open one. I think it was right the way the furniture was, too When all the furniture is lined up on the walls, it looks boxy, not cozy. Plus if you look up interior design "rules", you're following them in the cozy design. It doesn't feel right the other way for a reason.

For pillow storage you could try the big ziplock bags that you suck the air out of. Might at least save some space and keep the dust off!

I love the live you have goin on for fall,i was wondering why dont you just take the bench, the rack and everything off that section and just focus on a cute console table by the entryway with a mirror??im not sure if you did that before but I think it would look so much better.
