I love that hanging basket and the stems you put in it! I didn’t see it the last time I went to Hobby Lobby! I would love to hang it on the back of our wooden door and add some different Fall florals to it! You could honestly keep it up year round and just add seasonal appropriate florals to it!

Hi Lauren-to make our pumpkins last all season, my husband sprays them with a clear coat of spray paint they don’t rot and people don’t believe they are real as I use them inside and outside with my decor-you can do it with the gourds too-maybe use the garland on your banisters outside with some twinkle lights (use clear zip ties) and for your door frame some corn stalks🤷🏻♀️I love your channel and decor and as far as your decor all over the place, I think we all go through that when we decorate, we tweek here and there until it’s perfect for our taste and that’s what counts🙏🏼♥️

Lauren, I switched from real mums and pumpkins last year to artificial and I’ll never go back! I figured out that if I get three hay bales ($7 ea at Walmart)- and put a bbq skewer through the bottom of the foam pumpkins (all different colors, sizes and shapes from hobby lobby and Walmart) -then I stick the other end of the skewer into the hay bales. I can have my pumpkins sitting on top of and all around the bales and they stay in place through the weather! I purposely grabbed the pumpkins that looked realistic. From the street you can’t tell that they’re fake AT ALL. I even added a medium sized scare crow and light up Jack-o-lanterns later in the season. Also put a cute little garden wagon with fake mums and sunflowers tumbling over the sides. It turned out totally cute. Now I save myself a lot of money by not re-purchasing real pumpkins and mums every year that will just die after a few weeks. If you live in a dry area, then you could also save your hay bales in plastic bags for a couple of years. (Unfortunately, we’re in Tenn, and as you know the humidity is no joke). So there’s no saving hay bales here, but just something to think about. By going artificial and being real careful with your selections, you could save a lot of headache, time, and money.

Lauren, i love your decor, how real you are ans how you do what makes you happy. I honestly get tired of watching some of the videos where everyone is jumping on every new trend and decorating with whats trendy instead of what they really like.
I will have to try the soup. I made your sweet cream pancakes a while ago and im still hooked. Also, do you think the chicken soup would work with tortellini instead of the gnocchi? Maybe you would enjoybit more then? Just a thought.

It honestly baffles me that people make comments like that. I just don’t get it. I get that everyone’s decor style is slightly different but why feel the need to hate?! I absolutely love all your decor and your videos! Listen to your gut about what makes you happy and don’t change for hate comments! I love my decor style for my house and I’m sure if I had a channel people would probably have a lot to say about it, but it’s my house and I don’t care😂 I’m glad you feel the same about yours.💕
Oh and PS I love the galvanized tin idea! It’s okay you decided not to use it but I do love the way that looks. I’m going to be using some galvanized tin with my front porch fall decor this year and I might steal that idea.😂

Amazon has some amazing fake Mums that look real to put in planter boxes-Amy Darley showed that on her channel as well as fake ferns that look very real as well. 🌸 Also putting real pumpkins in a bleach/water bath will help them from not going bad too quickly. 🌸
