Always loved the interplay you and Simon have between your parts - Whole Child Ago and My Recovery Injection being two more great examples. Being a great bass player is nothing like being a great guitar player. Your job is to cut down to the absolute most essential notes, and taste is SO important because the bass has such a huge impact on the overall emotion of a song. A guitar is a paintbush and is great for making a lot of small, detailed embellishments. A bass is a sledgehammer: you need to be EXCEPTIONALLY careful about how you use it because it's SO powerful.
So perhaps LEARNING this part is easy, but WRITING it is not. Every single tiny detail carries so much weight. Great song, great band, great bassist! Huge inspiration, never stop writing records guys!
