@@danielpalumbo8375 This. I went through my teens loving Biffy, but Rabbit were tremendous.
Teenage Fanclub and Frabbit edge it for me, although if we measured it by the number of times I'd seem them live Biffy would win by about 35 times haha

@@jonredman3705 I love Biffy I have for years but it really is one of my pet peeves when i go to shows and the band (and lots Of Them Do It) has multiple musicians on stage and hide them in Darkened spaces..if you need these musicians to fill out your sound and nuances etc.. at least show them the respect to have them seen on stage with you properly! Same with Gambler Joe Blogs (i couldn't remember his name for the life of me).
@@PompeyDoomCrew I agree in general, but I believe it's Mike Vennart's choice. I'm sure I remember an interview saying he didn't want to be seen as a full member of the band as Biffy is their thing, not his

I thought this sounded a bit too full bodied for just the three and then there's old Mike Vennart giving it the beef. Also I love how derpy it looks trying to rip the fabric at the end with a drum stick after the guitars 😂

Biffy is known to use some pretty weird gear. Simon is kinda infamous for using the Metalzone pedal on his strat.

This version without all those super polished effects and mastering is better than album version imo.
kinda agree I was surprised at how mediocre the actual single mix was.
This is still heavily compressed and is incredibly well mastered (fair play to whoever at the beeb mastered/mixed it. The reason it sounds different is because of the prominence of the guitars. Small changes make huge differences to the right ears.
I love biffy and have blackened sky tattoo'd on my arm, will always respect them. This is a good song but I just cant get a long with this new sound they have been goin with!

Thought it was maybe a bit too poppy but its got the awesome biffy sound. Catchy pop but a belter.
How does the projections work? Doesn't appear to be rear projection and if it was front, the projection light would appear on them... hmm
It seems to be rear projection, looking at 3:43 the lights are on the floor, which didn't happen before he smashed the cloth "wall".. Cool effect!
