Easily the most underrated drummer since the turn of the millennium. Utterly unbelievable.
It's awesome and refreshing to see that it's not only Si that writes everything.
Signs of a great band.
Mon The BCA.
That triplet fill at the beginning of the song is so good!
I could genuinely watch Ben drum for hours! Incredible! 👏
A classic example of making a simple concept that is actually hard to do make look incredibly easy
I love your drumming Ben. My dad wants me and him to learn a whole child ago
Don't even play drums but it's so cool to see the song broken down. Mon the Biff!
Simon's some genius making a song out of a drum track. Kudos.
Other way around kid. Anyone can make something from drums. The real genius is the drummer coming up with a killer beat for all the other instruments to follow.
Beats are so much harder than riffs...trust me, I'm a multimuscian haha. That or just call me Karen.
@@FreerunnerDave Actually respect to all 3 lads. Their all equally talanted. But yeah for Ben to make a full drum track from out the blue is an achievement all by it's self.
BEN master, please can you do That Golden Rule??
Absolutely loving these.
I love these tutorials. Fascinating to see/hear how it all comes together! Thanks, Ben!
Love it!! Watching his expression as he plays, just know his reliving the arena vibe
I’ve been playing along to this song so much lately. Always love your style Ben! I’ve been playing your songs for years. Keep it up!
Couldn’t be more excited for the new album. All the ideas so far feel so fresh and lively! Mon the Biff!
Absolutely phenomenal 🙌🏻
Love these tutorials. You make it look so easy and I'm so uncoordinated. Loving the eye contact with your audience too. Good job Sir.
I love the story of the creation of the song!!! Great drumming that’s cool and makes the song flow. So smooth!!!!
Incredible! You make it look so easy Ben. Thanks for the demo.
Killer man so clean what a groove aboustly love this tune and this album.
Such a solid groove and feel!
Absolutely brilliant song and an absolutely brilliant drummer! You are class!
oooh I really enjoyed that, thanks for taking the time to share! Love the new album and contemplating the trip to Glasgow to see it live :-)
Thank you so much for doing this Ben! It's a killer fill that I've been racking my brains trying to figure out how it worked. Mon the biff!
What a drummer - superb
Thanks for doing these videos.
Great! Absolutely great!
Totally makes sense Ben that you created this song. I love the wib-lock / cowbell rhythm on this one - Cheers, Andrew
Cheers Ben! Brilliant song & drums throughout & bloody hell that snare is crisp oftt! 👌🏻👌🏻
A great syncopated song intro. Excellent
You make odd timings look so simple... every tutorial I think ‘i could do that’ then the play-through at the end makes me realise I’ve got a long way to go 😂
I've played the guitar for 20 years and I love the way it feels. Never really touched a drum kit but I always imagine the level of interaction and the way it feels when you're competent and in the flow state must be amazing 😍
Unreal as always ❤️🙌
Brillliant mate, this is the song that got me into Biffy and its still my favourite!
Goosebumps
Very impressive and definetly stuff for "trying at home" 😀🤗 Thanks for sharing, Ben 🙏
Great video Ben, thanks for explaining everything. I’ve been making this into a custom map on Beat Saber and now this makes me wanna finish it off.
than bb snare sounds absolutely phenomenal!
Absolute monster of a tune.
Amazing 👏
thank you ben you are the best
this has the perfect amount of cowbell!
*Bruce Dickinson wants to know your location*
Superb. Thank you very much, this piece is a killer, I'm trying to learn it and you brought me a lot. Thank you.
Awesome ❤️
Awesome Ben!
So tight.
Great Song. Great Band. Great Drummer. Great Accent. :D
You are the Best, máster!!!
Ben you're a legend 👍
I’ve always loved your style Ben and I clearly remember becoming a fan after listening to a track called “A Day Of...” from a magazine’s free CD! Been following your music since then and 20 years later - I’m still in awe of you guys. Any chance for a tutorial of “Solution Device”? I really find it very tricky especially the intro.
I love this song almost as much as mountain
Yes Ben!
Brilliant ma man from billy in England via killie 🥁👍🏻
No dislikes as of now, keep it going!
정말 좋아요 벤 :)
Huh. Drummers truly and physically exist in the future. Maybe only half a second in the future, but the future nonetheless.
Been trying to learn the triplet pattern for months now and still can’t nail it
❤️❤️❤️
Хорошее видео! Спасибо!
what a fucking legend
He’s pretty fuckin awesome 👏
I always thought you are the driver!!
Love the drum part but I think what makes this song great is the synth part
hello ben thank you very much that tutorial is great! Please can you upload the backing track ?
I'm anticipating going crazy and singing along to this at a festival once there's a vaccine... It's gonna be absolutely glorious! Hang in there everybody!
Why is James McAvoy playing drums?!
BEN I LOVE YOU
3:28 I heard the start to walk this way
That fill at 6:59 was fucking unreal.
Hey Ben,
Greetings from New Zealand! Can you get Simon to do a tutorial on the strumming pattern of Biblical? It is driving me to despair!
Cheers.
Johnny.
P.s. Awesome new album!
When Covid is over. Come to chile po.
Again, much thanks Ben. Can anyone confirm the counting is 7/4 for the first part? I tried to count along with a (silent) sixteenth beat right before the Hey, hey, hey; counting 1-2-3, 1-2-3-4. Ben, you're welcome to elaborate as well. I hoped you would be counting along with the beginning as it is still tricky. I get the skipping beat when it gets to 4/4 though.
Definitely sounds like 7/4 but without the first kick hit on the 1, making it hard to count from the start along with the track until a few beats in
All I can hear is the intro to how did we get so dark by royal blood 3:28
3:28 Lots of Royal Blood influences here?
Snare. What kind of snare is that?!
i wish i had rhythm
Que manera de zurrarle
Hey ily
How can you rate thumb down to this video?!
This song is my #1 of the year and will probably remain in that spot comfortably :-P Not only the song as a whole but also from a drumming perspective. Thank you so much for providing the stems for this - if you like check out my drum cover that I used them for: czcams.com/video/6gknUu_lggk/video.html
Awful absolute crap.. he has all the subtlety of a hammer thrower....
