from 4/4 to 6/8. Amazing!
"cry at the joke, laugh at the rage, and I'll pray for the better days" ❤️
I love acoustic versions of songs and this did not disappoint! Mon The Biff 🤘🏽
acoustic is also beautiful. so biffy-touched
So... tiny indoor captain
(love both songs)
Biffy Clyro outdoes themselves once again, and absolutely smashes it! Great job to them and the team at BBC Radio 1
My smile got bigger and bigger as the song went on👍
This could lead into Justboy pretty well
I think I prefer this as an acoustic. Sounds beautiful 💜
Sounds somehow more Scottish than the original. This is a great version!
Who's come here to make sense of the WAP performance?
Raphael Duffy the WAB was an ironic joke, their actual music is excellent and they’re just as good live
each album is different from the last
@@MrLegomaster21 You got a recommendation? not looking for some indie folk stuff but the comedy on WAP and smooth modern sound here are pretty good
Raphael Duffy listen to ‘the captain’, ‘god & satan’, ‘machines’, ‘golden rule’, ‘mountains’, ‘57’
Good mixture there to get a feel.
The best band I’ve ever seen live, and I’ve seen plenty !
Smashing version! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Such a beautiful song, it works beautifully either way! 🙌
oh mon the biff, thanks for being part of our lives 💜
OMG I love this version more, it's so good acoustic!!!!!!
Love this
lovely stuff
So great to see them together in a room again, playing music. I really want Biffy to be my first live-show once things go back to normal.
P.S. Anyone else find it weird that they make it seem like Mike isn't even there? I mean, I get that he's "only" a live musician and not part of the band per se, but gee, this is a little harsh. Dude's an incredible musician in his own right, I still listen to Oceansize A LOT.
I believe Simon has stated in interviews that it is Mike's decision to sit off to the side during live performances.
No way i didnt realise he used to be in oceansize! I thought north ofno south sounded very Oceansize when i first heard it!
Mike has said he absolutely loves his role in Biffy & is happy to be told what to do/what to play etc. He still got to stage dive with the band at the Barrowlands during NTAIOF ;)
Love them! #MontheBiff 🖤💙🖤
That's breaked my heart and picked it up gently by pieces)))
Pure Heaven
Love this!
Beautiful song, one of the rock songs my favorite
Biffy's acoustic version is always the answer!
Pretty much all of Biffys songs are as good acoustic as they are in electrical versions. Its impressive as fuck, because it says something about just how good their song writing is, and how good they are as a band performing together.
The biffy Clyro proper legends
Did they change the time signature for the acoustic version? That’s awesome. Love it. Very Scottish vibes from this.
i know the time signature and subtle lyric phrasing change is tripping out my ears.
Chris Illing - willing to learn here, is there a discernible difference between 6/8 and 3/4?
@@TurnCoatRudeBoy it's easier to notice when you play. 6/8 is much harder. crotchets become really long and quavers become the standard length note. it's typical in sicilian music
Roisin Williams it might be the Saturday night wine, but that was all Greek to me. Sorry. Haha. I’ve written in 3/4 before, but I can’t discern a difference in 6/8.
I love your performance so much. It is so natural. It flows beautifully 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🕊️
This is amazing. All about the backing vocals for me
Totally agree. The backing vocals is one of their bigger strengths as a band in my opinion. Always on point, fantastic.
Are there any tabs?? Always love the way Simon plays open chords on the guitar. 🥰
Where is Biffy’s version of WAP?! It’s no longer showing on the BBC Radio 1 CZcams page!!!
😃❤👍
From Russia with Love!!!!!
This is better than the original version
I know little mix will be in the live lounge this month, but which day?
americans best get it when they come here after watching the wap cover, biffy are beauts
Hopefully they gain fans who came here after WAP. I've been a fan for nearly 10 years and this is some good stuff from them. This one certainly wasn't sarcasm lmaoooo
Done acoustic like this, it sounds kinda folky.
Me passing my neighbours house hears it playing omg I'm not the only person around here who likes buffy clyro , waits for the end of the song to knock and ask if they like biffy clyro, realises it's on the radio then some drake song starts playin 😑
Hello
Does anybody understand tuning and chords?
Anyone else hear Ben’s slip ups? Weird to hear from somebody who’s usually faultless!
I feel like there must have been something going on there, he's really ropey. Before this I'd only ever seen him make one mistake, and I watch a LOT of this band.
Alguien de México por aquí? 🤔
Please release an official acoustic version of this song I love it like this
Who’s here after the WAP cover?
Love this song but i wasn't feeling it acoustically. Never the less UP THE BIFF!
Wait, Jimbo's been promoted to six strings! :D Never seen do anything other than gently strum his electric bass on their 'acoustics' before. (I fully expect a biffierthanthou list of all cases in which this statement is wrong.)
@@lucyj5490 Can't claim it as original -- there used to be a great little website of that name!
я тут одна пришла из телеграма Давида из Папина Олимпоса?

Its an OK song, i think.
Mike 3>
I like the crazy one better….
mweh..
What a load of crap! The guitarist overshadowed lead singer!
Rock band my arse!
Never thought of this song as an acoustic but this is gorgeous
