For those who may not have understand the DRG/Genius one.
In Korea is mandatory military service for two years which causes most Starcraft players to retire, sometimes mid season or mid tournament.
Genius was retiring soon at the time of the tournament but hasn't made the official announcement yet, so when DRG placed him in the uniform, he was basically saying "Retire now"

It is because DoubleLift is an adc. adc's don't cast a lot of skill shots. they dps usually with auto attacks (right click). maybe that is why he struggled with Senna so much. You actually have to be able to land a skill shot.

​@A Oh FBH was notorious for crazy "ceremonies". Only a handful of players had enough clout to actually get away with it though, KeSPA was pretty strict with player behavior back then.
Incidentally... sometime after this performance... he played a zerg named sAviOr who he completely crushed and humiliated on stage. Savior's teammate, CJ.Much, then utterly destroyed FBH when he starved him to death and then drew a giant heart in the middle of the map... without ever doing enough damage to fully force him out of the game. FBH spent 20+ minutes fighting in a game everyone else watching knew was hopeless. Unfortunately for his pride he realized he was outclassed a bit too late and discovered the heart, only to gg out and leave the stage crying.
Sort of faded into obscurity after that.

It has very obvious limitations which makes it easier to reach the skillcap on the controler and it's quite shallow in comparison. Mouse + keyboard has close to infinite skillcap as your speed and precision can ALWAYS improve, even for an absolute top player which makes it much more difficult to master. It's like mastering checkers versus mastering chess, both are obviously difficult and competitive but the latter takes infinitely more skill.

There's this epic BM moment of Karrigan back when he was still in Germany for the team Playing Ducks, who were up against EnRo Griffins in the EPS Summer finals. In one round he ended up in a 1v1 against Spiidi on de_train. After Karrigan found and shot him in the back he yelled "Why are you so nervous you son of a bi***?!" in German. Caster "Knochen" (bone)'s laughter that followed this outburst is unforgettably funny. Karrigan's team ended up winning the finals. Afterwards he went on to play for Astralis, coming out on top in major tournaments and marking down his name as a true legend.

I'm gonna be honest, I gotta go against the grain on this one. I think they were going for a wrestling heel type thing. Make people "love to hate them" because that keeps people watching. This is of course not mutually exclusive with them still being actual douchebags, but the way they engaged with the crowd struck me as performative and deliberate more than genuine and unaffected expression.

I went to an MLG tournament to support a friend in starcraft and ended up leaving early because the CoD players got WAY too hype, and I thought more than once that they were gonna start swinging at each other. I don't go to events with Call of Duty on the lineup anymore. If your attitude isn't good enough to stop yourself from punching the other competitors than you don't belong at a video game tournament, you belong in an anger management program.

I would have included Leffen's BM against ChillinDude during Apex 2015. That was some top notch banter from the pre-match interview days before, to Leffen spamming laser gun and giving up a stock on purpose after Chillin accidentally suicided... all while laughing for the entirety of the match, plus the mockery after the 5-0 as he promised. Can't forget that match, which also cost ChillinDude the ability to use his Fox color ever again. Rekt.
