Getting called a cheater when you are actually not is the highest compliment you can get as a gamer.
Except when it has more dire consequences, such as people being kicked out of e-sports teams, freezing their income, until they're proven innocent.

Nah... I think you got it wrong. Most people think if they would do it, so would everyone else. So because he was cheating he just assumes that everyone else is as well.

Geguri is my favourite at #5... She was vilified for aspiring to become a female overwatch pro and spent countless hours perfecting her craft in order to overcome all odds. Insanely talented, no matter what team she was playing with
Does she still play? Not an overwatch esports watcher however seeing a woman compete at the highest competitive level is amazing to see. I play LoL, and the last team we saw with women went 0-16 professionally (or something like that) and basically cemented misogyny into the player base.

Accusers, when the accused found innocent, should receive significant punishment and a hefty fine depending on the blowout. Damage to reputation, mental stress, and repercussions of bullying are downright stressful. The falsely accused deserve compensation.
The money that would be required, because of how wide spread, and international it is, would make the US Military Budget look like nothing more than monopoly money. So focus on the downright abusive, such as death threats, and threat to cause harm (like that one person "I will go to his house knife in hand.") and nothing more. Most communities already have guidelines in place that discourages harassment, and those should be utilized to the fullest, when dealing with such issues. Other than that, the logistics required to punish everyone who falsely accuses another, whether by good intentions, or by bad intentions, is just not plausible!

Honestly if you've ever played with someone who has cheated in a game, as for like CS:GO. They are so blindsighted on how the enemies play and how they react since they have cheated themselves and normal situations with better players just seem that the enemies are cheating in their eyes since they dont have the impulse to think of the enemy POV of things.

I admire that guys story who before signing Taimou to the team built him a rig with his own hands and had him demonstrate his skills live and in action. I admire that approach, very prudent approach that can be applied to many aspects in life!
I played TF2 with Taimou before he moved to OW and in TF2 it was already clear he was one of the best aimers. In TF2 he mainly played medic though (see the only video on my channel).
I remember that vid of him playing widow and snapping his aim on a resurrecting player before the animation was even done and it really does look incredibly suspicious. But wtf do I know? When I play widow I can't hit the ground if I fell on it.

Mika Daime was a legit hacker after that interview and reaction from streamers she seriously stopped from top fragging and being "good at the game"
I had this shit happen a lot from years ago when I played Counter-Strike Source, and lost friends because of the accusations. A lot of people never seem to understand that a lot of those amazing shots that look like cheating are just the player taking a huge risk and getting lucky, but it's luck with experience and steady hand eye coordination which makes it look even better because they know how the other player might act, or how the game mechanics can create many possibilities for crazy plays to be made.
When you play video games, any game, for a very long time you start to understand the "patterns" of game mechanics in general. It's hard to explain what it is. It's like the player can read the code of the matrix type of thing. You just know what to look for and how to react. Like that clip of the guy shooting the other player through the metal gate. The shooter knew their was a possibility of a player behind that gate and where they might be standing or crouching because he has played that map probably thousands of times and could guess where all the spots a player could be sitting. Also the risk wasn't that big, he shoots at the gate and hits nothing, not a big loss, but if he does get a kill out of it then that's a big reward for very little risk so of course he would take the shots.
Snapping to the head to get a headshot is also understanding game mechanics, well maybe more like understand how character models interact with the environment. If you do something long enough you just start to know where to aim at any distance and any angle or through objects and anticipating someone coming around the corner by having your crosshair right on the corner where their head will be. It comes easier to some but it isn't impossible to learn if you just practice enough.
Proving you aren't cheating in a none competitive gaming situation is nearly impossible as I found out all those years ago, unless you can somehow get them to come to your house and watch you play, then perhaps, but then again who really knows what the accuser is thinking.
Moral of the story: Dan M is delusional
Dan M is a guy that probably peaked at DMG after 10000 hours in CSGO and cannot perceive that people could be better than he is.

Great video, you should look into the story of whitecat the osu player. Accused by the community until the game banned him, met up with the game creator, proved his innocence and then came back to official servers to take the number 1 spot for 2 years

Back when I played CS:GO, 7-8 years ago, I played on a fairly high level. Global Elite and played in tournaments. I remember I often turned my mouse/reticle towards where I heard sound through walls. Because of how my headset and surround sound works, it was the easiest way for me to determine exactly where the sound came from. I knew it could seem fishy from outside people and was afraid that silvers watching overwatch would report me for it.
I was accused of cheating in matchmaking a lot, and that's the biggest form of flattery in a skillbased game.
There's also this thing called game sense, and timings. Lower ranked players don't understand this.
Moral of the story: Dan M doesn't understand aiming and crosshair control.
No one can understand something that they don't know about.

he was unbanned early.. so he went through the esl rehabilitation program... which includes the shaiiko apologising and confessing what he did. so he had to say that he used macros. idk if he really used them... but it‘s not confirmed that he didn‘t.. so i think this is the reason why he‘s not mentioned in this video

Only trash tier players would say she's "innocent" . Explain to me at 5:37, have you seen any diamond aim down sight with a spectre while peeking at the fucking ground ? And the the crosshair instantly flicked to Cypher's head, she even keep spraying extra 4 bullets after cypher die showing how trash her reaction time is.
And lets talk about final kill situation, it's the 1v4 to 1v1, she obviously has no concrete info about omen's position but she just turn her back so casually to B window, BUT the spike was planted at the position for attacker can defend the bomb from window. That's why the pro players immediately say "She know where he(Omen) is!!" at exact moment she keep looking at CT spawn because he understood the situation.
And finally the kill : She is low, 12 HP, she can be killed in 1 hit by any type of gun, you have two option to kill the last one as fast as possible, what would you chose? Spectre 78 hs dmg or Jett knives 150 hs dmg? AND SHE THREW THE JETT KNIVES AWAY YO. She did not use the knives because she knows her soft hack may not guarantee 100% headshot at the last moment and she is not capable to land a headshot with Jett knives so she used the Spectre.
And I'm too familiar with the trash cheating software to help you land a headshot every 4 or 5 bullets is too easy to notice once you understand it. Seeing people who has no experience and knowledge about what they talk about but still try to defend this pretty face is amusing.

1/ Sticking to the bone all the time would be obvious and considered raging because you are streaming for thousand people to watch at the same time.
2/ She used wall obviously and as I said, soft cheat too. The aimbot only active once she hold down mouse and it's totally possible to program the cheat to land a headshot after a certain shot, or even decide the maximum TTK. Cheaters in Valorant are actually care about avoiding ban because it take a while to get around the anti cheat and spoofer shits, unlike CSGO dumbasses can just rage spin and don't giveaf. Beside this is Valorant, not CSGO.

All these CSGO accusations show me is that a lot of people have no idea how to clear a site and/or have never done something as simple as a YPRAC map. Most of these spots are learned after something as short as an hour on the pre-fire parts of the ypracs.
Also, their crosshair placement is really good. It's almost like they're the best in the world and get paid to be so...
Shaiiko is a siege player that was accused of “spamming his 4 key at an i humane rate” subsequently he got banned for 2 YEARS from the game, I’m utterly disappointed he is not on the list.
The same kinda thing happened to this guy in the OW scene called NicoGDH, altho he wasnt banned for 2 years but rather got unbanned about 3 days later.
Again, they don't know if shaiiko hacked in that very match before :/

I was waiting to see him too, but I think its because there is still no confirmation whether he cheated or not. ESL never revealed what happened behind the scenes and shaiiko did his rehab and came back. Maybe thats why they cant include him

@@ElGentoo in 2016 and 2017 pros found ropz actually suspicious and some of them wanted him to even be kicked from fpl, he wasnt at a tier1 team yet, he was just playing fpl and refusing a lot of offers, which made pros even more skeptical about him.
FalleN both being on this list, and also joining in the dogpile on Leaf is a prime example of the fact: Just because you suffered, doesn't mean you learnt anything about it. Call a spade a spade, FalleN's an arse, and was bitter that Brazilian CS 7-1'd itself.

@@penguinblak1684 The system they used to detect a "macro" is pretty unreliable, and you can get a macro effect by smashing a key super fast. Even then, they were accusing him of having aimbot or wallhacks, and the worst they found was supposedly a macro effect on the 4 key where he smashes his key to set off his gadget. If he was cheating, it would have at most only helped him in opening a reinforced hatch 0.1 seconds faster. He proved himself at the major after he was unbanned, and dropped a 25 kill game (highest ever in pro league). The fact he wasn't even mentioned in the video is criminal.

I think it's because ESL never publicly declared his suspension as incorrect.
IIRC on the sixonsix podcast pengu ep's they did mention he took part in the redemption programme for the ban to be lifted early. But that ESL never shares what that entailed or why.
I still think he didnt cheat. Shaiiko consistently hits his shot regardless if it's LAN or online.
Bro ESL, especially for R6, would never publicly declare his suspension as being incorrect, they hate being proven wrong, shaiiko is just unreal at R6 though
Regarding his ban he used macros which is under ESL and Ubisoft's code of conduct and is a bannable offence. He used 444 and 4444 at inhuman speeds which was presumed to be a macro for things like zero recoil, crouch spamming and doing a series of button presses with one key press. He tried to deny it saying it was how he used his gadget but it was all recorded on Moss files. End of the day he is a great aimer but he did use a macro for whatever reason so 🙈

It is a very difficult problem, where good guys always lose.
In 2005-2009 I remember playing on servers, which had great communities, and I loved that. I remember stopping myself consciously from doing certain plays and wallbangs, because "somebody might be watching", "somebody might record a demo and send to admin", and I knew some jealous people were hunting exactly for that, as I seemed to be doing better than anyone else. It literally affects you as a player, you can never feel free.
How many times you do a calculated, intelligent guess, and nade or prefire something ? Countless times. Usually - nobody there, or they're slightly somewhere else, even if your guess is somewhat correct. What happens if you do that live, on camera, and it's the finals of a tournament ? What happens if you actually make 9/10 guesses correct, in a row ? Just simply stars aligning, Slumdog millionaire type of thing ? That's it ? You're done-zo, you get prosecuted ? Because everyone knows anti-cheating software is bypassed by anything, and people have to revert to eye-spy method ?
There are countless amounts of possible examples here. However, what is evident - the lack of good anti-cheating software and developer support in catching cheaters, and even moreso - PREVENTING cheating from happening, has ruined so many experiences for people its unbelievable. Nowadays, 2019-2022, people are in constant doubt, paranoia. Everyone knows there are hacks for 100-200 dollars, but we hear even about private hacks that are near to impossible to catch, written by brilliant coders, costing up to 5k-10k, which are not distributed. So this paranoia in community creates endless amount of witchhunting, and endless disrespect amongst players, because right now, more than ever - if you're better than someone, you wont get a compliment or anything friendly towards you, you will be cussed, trolled and reported.
And really, if you're a game developer, care about your game's community/future, how hard is it to "pretend" to buy cheats, get the forbidden software, analyse it and prevent it. Cheating in many ways is a kind of "theft", simply speaking, a crime in online world, but since it touches real people, real time - often affecting their lives in one way or another...Is it hard for gaming companies to get togeather and fight it ? How ? One way is to get togeather and start pushing through laws. Too harsh ? How about sharing their data on cheating engines, fighting it togeather ? Small global congramerate ? How about - global banning people - if you get banned on CS:GO for hacking, you get banned on nearly every single game out there, in addition to hardware bans ? Would that make people think twice, before doing it ?
Some companies have sought legal action, which resulted in cheat developers instantly dropping hacks for those games. So it works. Why are other companies not doing that ? Just pure greed, for returning customer investment ? WHAT IS ITTTTTTTTTT ?
Bungie are notorious for prosecuting companies that develop and distribute cheats. However, them being rigorous only against the most famous cheats stands to prove a point -- you can't catch them all, you can't win, so just go for the easy marketing to calm the waters.

If you could send me the podcast recording link that would be great so I can actually look into it. I also can’t find anything about this redemption league nor him admitting to cheating at all. I only know they let him back in because of a reform to ESL, not some redemption league unless you are referring to challenger league which isn’t a redemption league.

I used to play a lot of Unreal Tournament in high school. I’d sink a few hours almost every night on Arena Master servers. One night I was popping OFF. One round in specific I had a lightning gun headshot on every kill, and before I got unreasonably banned from the server I took a screenshot that showed I had 70% accuracy on all weapons. Of course I never cheated, but friends on the server always bring up my cheats because everyone who played that night remembers it.

Actually on the Six on Six podcast, Interro and Pengu say that they still don’t know if he cheated. ESL never released the information of his ban. I never thought he cheated, but still some people think he cheated, including many pros.

It’s one thing to use hacks in one tournament or in one match, but over years? Without being discovered either by admins or software. The probability is low that is not even worth looking at.

@@theserhoratio never proven he used macros. He just pressed a button a lot. The “signed” declaration he made was part of Ubisoft’s requirements to get back into Siege, otherwise known as a “forced” confession to keep Ubisoft looking good.
