Those pallet racks 😅 yeah. Eventually, I came up with a system... Lean end against the wall, but a beam real low to connect to other end. Now come back and do one at 5'. If you do the back side first, less ducking.
What's real fun is putting them up with a fork lift. Get em started on low beam. Platform, rails (on an angle), platform+ rail. Bring forks between the ends, climb up on the forks, hook up the back rail then front rail. Now the platform. Rails on an angle so they can fit between your end stands...

He had three shelves come down on the lift along with about 7,000 lbs of parts onto the lift. (the cage saved him but not his pants 😁)

Just watch out for the motorcyclists that are lane-splitting in California. It's perfectly legal. And have fun!

Hey Zack. Since you are going to be in Tulare (pronounced "to Larry") you might want to stop at Hilmar Cheese in Hilmar CA. Last year between the Texas plant and Hilmar CA plant they made over 1B lbs of cheese last year. I have been working with Hilmar for the last 25 yrs. I think you viewers might be interested. Enjoy the videos and your sense of humor.

Fun of time in the Navy!! Frigates and Cruisers had the same pallet hand run carts. Release the handle and they all braked in place! Great in heavy seas!

hello zack hey that new pallet jack will also work good when you have to replace a wheel seal or bearings on one of the semi"s or semi trailers . just pull the axle and lock nuts then have the axle just high enough to put you pallet jack under both tires and with your brakes released pull hub and all as a unit , replace your parts then slide it back together and torque the nuts back on .
i have worked for a couple of shops that we used these when we didnt have a wheel dolly or one that was being used somewhere else .sure is alot faster and hell of a lot easier than dissasembling everything .

Your local habitat for humanity might be a place to take the windows. Suggestion- attach the shelving to the wall, near the top, with good strong lags. You might think about making a bridge between the two rack section at the top. It would give you another 8’ or so of storage.
Stay warm. Oh that’s right you’re going to CA!

Pallet racking is the best thing I put in my shed, a shed worth of stuff off the floor on the shelves that I'll never use

Build a little shed just for your lawn mower. Put the 5 windows in it so we can all see your lawn mower is safe and sound and sleep good at night.

Those pallets would have made excellent platforms for the dogs to sleep on, gets them off the cold floor when they're outside.
