A gambrel style which would have 4 beam parts joined by gussets (for a shed). I wonder what the angles would be as well as the lengths of the beams to go on a shed this size (8' walls).

Do you have any noob friendly videos on using routers? I have had a Ryobi router for a few years but to be honest, they scare me more than any saw I've ever used. I'd LOVE to learn how to use my router without fear but being smart at the same time. Sorry if you already have done some videos. I'm a new subscriber and just starting to go through your videos. I LOVE your teaching method so much! I have a degree in Architectural Technology but after building a fancy chicken coop for the first time, I have learned why contractors get so irritated with architectural drawings. It's so not the same thing. LOL!
Thank you so much in advance for any advice you can share. Loving your channel so much!
Edit: Sorry. I thought about one more question. I'm a pain in the butt. LOL! For framing walls and door openings (headers, king & jack studs, etc), is it best to use screws or nails? I have a framing nailer but I see you use screws a lot. Which is the preferred application for each phase of building a shed?

Nice video. I guess you could drill the hole for the router from the inside right next to the stud so you don’t have to measure on the outside. Hope your mom is doing better. My mom had trouble getting around so we put handrails down the hallway and grab bars in some places to make her more secure. An amazon Alexa is a good idea also so she can have Alexa call you if she falls and isn’t near a phone.
