Amouage Interlude Black Iris Perfume Review

- So I picked up the new Interlude flanker from Amouage last week and finally got delivery a couple days ago. What's it like? Do you need it? Does it smell just like Interlude, but with some Iris? Shock, surprise, yes it does...

I have the original so I've been interested in this one , appreciate your thoughts on this one.
The rational person in me is saying I don't need it. The completionest in me is saying get it 😂
haha know exactly what you mean! I had my heart set on this no matter the scent, just needed that bottle to keep things complete lol
Was looking for this... Nice review. Seems the best of both worlds for me. The concept of oregano toned down and Iris amped up sounds winner to me. Cheers
Very fair review mate, it is one I am looking forward to try. I love the DNA of interlude and a lighter fresher version with Iris does sound great

Absolutely! I think this one is much quieter for sure and also I'd place it more unisex too. Interestingly, I hosted a split on this bottle and it was filled exactly 50/50 male to female. As much as I like the original, it rarely gets wear because it was just always feeling a bit "BIG" but this one cures that totally for me, so definitely I think you'll enjoy the subtlety of this one a little more :)
Never smelled a "painty" iris before! But it's good that it settles down in the end. Solid review Ben. Interlude is one of those frags I'm still working on. Can't seem to really pull it off. My best compliment was "you smell like an italian kitchen. On fire." 😂 Grazie amico mio. Grazie.

The only thing I didn't like about interlude was the oregano note , on pizza great but not frags lol ..if that's dialled away then I'll love this
Great news for you! The greenery in this one is almost entirely coming from the violet leaf which it seems like they used to replace a lot of the herbal elements of the original. I do get a little green herbs still, but they're totally dominated by violet leaf :)

And good review. BUT One tip...dont keep repeating the same observations again and again...maybe one repeat is enough....
They would not call it Interlude if it was something very different. Duh!
Only there are lots of flankers with little in common with the original... platinum egoiste for example...
