Hello how are you doing, I want to start by saying that you look absolutely stunning in your profile picture. It’s evident that you exude confidence and grace. Please Can you reply me I have something to discuss with you.
This is one of my favorite songs, I’ve been listening to this since I was six years old and it brings back so many memories for me. I will always love this song and this song never gets old and I am 32 about to be 33.❤
2000 seems so long ago (and I get it, _it was long ago)._ Still, I remember many Friday-nights as a young boy, listening to this song on the radio in the car.
My Grandpa died 4 Months ago (June 4th). Every week before he passed away I would go to check on him in the hospital. He always had CNN or ABC Family on his Tv. There was a movie that featured this song on ABC Family, I don't actually know the name of the movie. I looked over at him and he was smiling, that was the last time I ever saw him smile. At the funeral and wake I was in charge of the music, for the occasion I wanted to not think of how he's gone and will never come back. I thought of it as just another step of life and to remember all the good things he's done such as, he served in world war 2. Back on to the music. I choose to place some casual music played at wake and at the funeral before we put the body in the hearse, I played this song and I was In tears. At the funeral In the cemetery we had current navy seals march along the cemetery. Thanks for this song "Uncle Kracker." Info: Rank in WW2, Private.
I’m 23, I was born the day this song released and now we’re all in this year two decades later kinda bitter sweet no ? I’m young got my whole life ahead of me still but reading through these comments you Ogs from the 70’s and up must of had lots of fun listening to this, almost jealous I didn’t get to experience that time where no Instagram or Facebook was around to jeopardize everything just straight hanging with your friends or family.
Its the shit you did thats made you who you are, would you really want to throw that away? We all got mistakes in our past, the mistakes dont define you, they shape you. So long as your humble and willing your past is something to celebrate, its what brought you to right here, right now, reading this comment. Is it really that bad?
Guys stop fighting about what the song is about. Uncle Kracker said in an MTV interview, "It takes on a couple of different meanings. I've heard some people think that I'm talking about drugs, or some people think I'm talking about cheating. I guess it's kinda both. I would never want to say anything that would get myself in trouble, being married with a couple of kids. That song is like a dirty picture painted with a pretty brush."
Tanner Petersen Yeah but I don't think Bush should be given any credit for that. People would've banded together regardless. He only served to reinforce negative ideas about the US. I don't think the US "found a leader in george jr."
2 weeks ago Uncle Kracker came out at a Kenny Chesney concert, the crowd went freaking insane! I got it on video… that crowd came alive for him! It was a incredible feeling. And he was so humbled by it. It gave you all the feels!
My mom used to play this on the radio when I would go to target when they had neon decorations and a food court. God damn I love how music can give you such visual memories.

I had trouble sleeping last night, and then I remembered just how comforting Uncle Kracker's voice was in this song. A true classic!
LETS GO BACK
❤ this song calms me down.... it has since I was little, thank you uncle kracker
Thanks for this song "Uncle Kracker."
Info: Rank in WW2, Private.
Sej you story hab make me cry like a baby. R.i.p your grandpa
God bless your grandpa and your family my friend….
One of my favorite songs...... Such a smooth sound of amazing artist that are honestly laid back and smooth as silk....
This song is so relaxing. You hear it and just forgets all your worries for a few minutes.
This song is literally about my biggest worry (heroin)
until the heroin runs out
I agree
THIS IS A CLASSIC FOREVER!!!
Man I'd give anything to go back in time. Id do so much shit over.
Aight going lie I would like to do things over but our decision make us who we are 🤙
Its the shit you did thats made you who you are, would you really want to throw that away? We all got mistakes in our past, the mistakes dont define you, they shape you.
So long as your humble and willing your past is something to celebrate, its what brought you to right here, right now, reading this comment. Is it really that bad?
YEP ME TOO!!!!!!! Live & Learn!!!!!
Not me. The stuff that happened to me made me who I am today. Things turned out pretty good. I'm satisfied with life.
Butterfly effect. Things that you might go back and change could have a negative impact on other things that you aren’t even thinking of.
This song never gets old!
The first 5 seconds of the song and you know it’s the classic
June 2024 still Love it
Guys stop fighting about what the song is about.
+nerfgunner05 ic
and this song became popular after 9/11, not a troll it's the truth, people found inner calm and found a leader in george jr
+Tanner Petersen I'm not sure Bush was the leader the US really needed.
+TJ Fiso I don't think so either, but after 9/11 you gotta admit people were sympathetic towards each other for at least a month
You're So Lucky
I didn't even know he was gay!
Omg hes gay?
where is the video?
False info uncle kracker isn’t gay at all has 3 kids with a female fiancé & then got divorced & now has a new fiancé but he isn’t gay
My mom used to play this on the radio when I would go to target when they had neon decorations and a food court. God damn I love how music can give you such visual memories.
May,10th 2024 still jamming 🎉
One my favorite tracks to play while camping. Brings family a friends together. A whole ass vibe. Like some shit out of movie.
