I just had my first experience designing a 3D printed AD! I made a crank for a sewing machine hand wheel. I'm planning to send it to free websites so purple can print it once I've worked out the bugs. ^_^

Hello! I'm an OTD student and I'm curtly doing my capstone on integrating 3D printing into the OT curriculum, could you share a little bit about some limitations you have found while using printed adaptive equipment in the clinical setting :)

Understanding material choices to produce proper durability and functionality. This can make a massive difference in the success of a 3D printed piece as more than a short-term fix. The other issue is time and level of training for therapists wanting to use the technology properly. There is a lot of tech skills along with understanding of maintenance and trouble shooting the equipment. We're busy and that isn't always afforded.
