- Ever wondered about the mystery of Princess Cordelia in The Sims 4? Or perhaps you’ve never even heard of her and don’t know what I’m talking about! Either way, this is a story that you’ll probably find quite interesting if you are a sims fan!
In case you didn’t know, Princess Cordelia is a character in the Sims 4 who’s story is hidden behind build and buy objects. If you look though the objects and also catch her name referenced in some of the worlds, you are able to put the pieces together to understand Cordelia’s story!

Princess Cordeliea’s name crops up quite a few times throughout various packs and little nuggets of information are shared with us to put the pieces together and understand her story. So…who is princess Cordelia? And why should we care?
Given that a lot of her story is hidden within the build and buy catalogue, the gallery and some of the worlds, finding out who she is became a bit of mission. So were going to try and follow as accurate of a timeline as possible.
So from one of the paintings we know where her story begins. She lived in a lavish palace in a kingdom close to the seaside. The painting does not specify where it is, although it does look like a country in Europe, which makes more sense when we get further along in the story.
Although Cordelia isn’t a sim placed in any world, she is available on the Gallery along with several other sims. For now were just going to look at her and her staff from the early beginnings. She is a young, beautiful sim with the romance aspiration of serial lover. Her traits are creative, musical and child of the ocean, which are all referenced throughout her story.
I would LOVE if they made her kingdom a new world for an expansion pack!
if this isn't an invite for what they did with sims 3 medieval I don't know what is. Would personally LOVE that. But instead of medieval it's a more modern kingdom. After Cordelia fled, in time the sloth evasion died, and the remaining folks, having possibly sent letters and people in search for Cordelia, decided to continue their own royal heritage since they desperately needed someone to help guide them in the right path

If henford was the first place she visited and the last place we got pack wise you’d almost think that were going backwards when it comes to her story

Her kingdom would be the perfect world to give us with a "Medieval"/Historical Expansion

Fuuun fact! Her last name is Thebe. In Sims 2 and go look at the family tree for the Capp family, they have ancestors who were Thebes. Which means, it is highly likely that the Capp family are decendents of Princess Cordelia

@@WhinyBrit You're welcome! I actually only know about it because one of my older saves on my laptop is all of the original family members of the original sims 2 families because I wanted to remake the families. It was an extremely bored quarantine save lol
I’m digging the creepy music! And I love hearing about the sims lore because I was honestly never clever enough to see that stuff on my own.
Theres a youtuber called The Sims Lore which talks abt the lore of ts1-3. I love learning abt sims history cuz ive only played ts4 and i really wish we had actual lore

You need to look at the collectible treasure from Sulani! I swear princess cordelia is mentioned in the descriptions of the fingers, eyes and hearts of sulani!
What does it say?
in tartosa (my wedding stories) there is a mansion called the thebe estate it’s very lavish and the sims that live there have history of the thebe name so my guess is that they’re related to cordelia
it makes me want to remake her in the sims 4 where she returned to the cottege in henford, weeped for that fallen kingdom but had to adjust to a life not-so-royal while also being the wealthiest in town. she tries keeping her identity a secret, maybe settles down with a daughter she names diana. or maybe it all goes tragically wrong

I think if you find the Sulani treasures in Island living you also get a bit more information of Cordelias Storyline (I think the text appears when you hover of them before you send them to clients, not sure tho)
You should make a part two of this now that My Wedding Stories/Cordelia's homeland exists in game.
Gotta be some comedy gold in there. Does it not work because of the sloths? Was the chef a sea witch that cast a curse on the world?
@Whiny Brit: There is also a museum on the gallery which showcases all of the items 'known to men' related to princess Cordelia. This and future upgrades of said building might interesting to you, for in case you ever want to make a part two of this story.

So Sims 3 had Into the Future which was... alright. Not to my taste but I don't really like to much Sci-Fi in sims. But wouldn't it be cool to have a Sims 4 Trips to the Past or something similar, where you get to visit the town or wherever what Princess Cordelia is from before the Sloth Invasion and meet her and her pirates in the own world... though with how Sims tend to travel between worlds in the Sims 4 with no rhyme or reason, maybe not since it would be pretty immersion breaking to have Cordelia from the past or one of her pirate beaus just turn up in San Myshuno without you actively bringing them there. Though do locals from destination worlds travel to main neighbourhoods? I've never really noticed.
If you visit Selvadorada for example, you will start to see Sims from there in other worlds. But you only start to see them outside that world after first travelling there.
@@andrewmoeller1987 I didn't know that, though unless it's a sim my sims know, I don't really take notice of the ones walking around in worlds and the ones in Selvadorada don't look any different to regular townies and the ones from Granite Falls basically are normal sims once they take off the bear costume.
@@kitsu1379 They could make it into a locked world, like the secret worlds we already have. I've never seen the sim from the secret world in Outdoor Retreat go around the residential worlds or even Granite Falls. It's possible that I just never paid attention, but my sims meet them whenever they go camping and even if they're in the relationship panel I still haven't seen them.

You've clearly been reading the Sims buy mode items like I do read Skyrim books and I already like where this is going. It was new to me that Sims apparently had lore; I thought everything they said in these item descriptions were a joke.
“she must of got sick of the stench, and boyed him off.” this made me laugh so hard 😭😭 and this story line is so interesting! i hope we get to learn more about princess cordelia!! and also…sims…sloths? the burning on the boat? this game i cant. 🤣🤣

The kingdom princess Cordillia is from is probably Tartosa as that’s how it’s basically presented in the photos and maybe after a couple hundred years Tartosa became what it is today, the home of one of the sims fours most buggy packs after release.

Princess Cordelia sounds like a very fascinating sim indeed. And for some reason, she kinda reminds me of Queen Victoria. Mostly because she too had 3 important men in her life, Her beloved husband Prince Albert of course, John Brown and Abdul Kalreem(I apologize if his last name isn't right). ❤️👑❤️

Theres a Princess Cordelia Simmi in Snowy Escape, The movie theater in Growing Together is showing a movie based on the Life of Princess Cordelia, more lore in the washed up bottles in My Wedding Stories and still more lore in the Sulani collectables in Island Living
If you watch Ann of green Gables and be live that sims took inspiration from the book. Then I would guess that cordilia is character create by Ann surly Cuthbert

You missed one tidnit in that she was allergic to cats lol You have to look at the painting of her with a cat although in the painting she had dark brown hair and not blonde so that's a bit of a consistency issue. But anyways in the painting it says her kingdom was filled with cats.
