i have a swap e30 m50b25 with a zf 5 speed, question im having problem putting my clutch Slave cylinder my driveshaft and tranny mount is already installed which looks from this video might have been easy to install before installing my driveshaft and tranny mount right ?

Hi Will. I have an ‘87 325e 5spd donor for my ‘87 325is auto. Do you know if it’s a straight swap with all the parts you listed?
I was told that I’d need an E21 Release Bearing rather than the E30 part number...which sounded weird to me.
As long as you use all of the parts from the donor car you are in business don't listen to whoever told you about that e21 nonsense you're good to go partner!

@@sambrown1760 Perfect, no issues with the manual conversion. Everything went together exactly as Will said it would. As far as the Gearbox and associated swap parts...there's no difference between "e" and "i/is".

I have a covered bearing
I watched part 1 and 2 waiting for the wiring info. I’ve done the swap before and wiring info online is pretty bad. Got car to turn on but no reverse lights. Wish you had shown the wiring.
Any advice on finding donor cars?
Watch craigslist, i passed on a couple and could kick myself now
9 hours straight of trying to spline the trans. took trans on and off 3 times to realign the clutch disc and tap in the pilot bearing further. long story short i pulled in the trans with the bolts. let’s see what happens🥶

Is there a reason you guys went with a dual mass flywheel instead of single mass? Or is it because it’s a eta e30
They spoke about a donor car so I guess that’s what they had at the time.
It's what we had, singlenmass is better
I need your help , I have a 87 e30 convertible I was brought a car that was incomplete I mounted the transmission manual but there was stuff missing for the shifter and I’m kinda stuck there
