These people don't wear it for their own language award function/interviews, even if they wear it nobody like North Indians will say it ''they respect culture'' kind of bullshit comments because it is so normal over there, infact I don't find anything special when he wore dhoti as I too wear it mostly for many functions also during normal days as it is so normal, but here if any bollywood actors wear saree/kurta/bandhgala for their festivals (like Ajay Devgan and Kajol wore traditional dress for diwali episode in Kapil Sharma show years back in 2016 when boycott chuthiyapa was not even relevant) nobody even cares for it😂😂 so after seeing this Ramcharan who wore black kurta for Sabarimala Vrat suddenly all foolish hindi sanghis started to speak bullshit like South respect culture (that shows how north gives a damn about their traditions), but when he ate hamburger recently no boycott chuthiyapa happens😉😉 so after seeing such comments their respective PR people of all those safe sided actors will make them to apply tactics to please and appease many, for such tactics if bollywood gets blamed no harm no offense 😂😂😂

Of course South Indians are proud of their culture. But so are rest of the Indians like North, North East, West or East. Dont forget, it was the continued efforts of some of the greatest North Indian Kings because of whom Islamist Invaders couldn't reach the Southern realm for quite a long period of time. The continuous invasion and ruin wrecked havoc with North India including the partition which almost created a holocaust. Instead of reveling in your culture, why not start apprising all other Indians to also start doing the same. Great people like Sai Deepak Sir and many others are doing same and helping Indians to identify with their roots.

I am from the West Indies and I also don’t watch Bollywood movies anymore. Actors and actresses in Bollywood have become fame obsessed. I always say that they are NOT celebrities and should not be treated like glorified beings. They are ordinary working class people just like ourselves. I mean come on..they make a living by pretending to be someone they are not..acting! Sadly they don’t even represent their true selves in reality after all the bleaching and plastic surgery. The world has changed and REAL celebrities are people who dedicate their lives to serving humanity and improving the quality of human life. The script also has become boring. That’s just my opinion.

They are lower cost today, but success has its cost, and south is beginning to make bigger budget movies as well, hope they do well, but it does increase project risk.

I am from 🇩🇪 I used to love watching Bollywood-Films. I enjoyed the Stores and the Indian Songs. But since some years I stopped watching it because Bollywood has become very americanized, no more serious Film- topics who drive Society. I see that the recent films Lack of authenticity . They are all mutual to each other what becomes very boring. The Songs also became weaker.
If I may make a film suggestion: Make a Bollywood film about the Sinti-people in Nazi Germany how they were murdered by Nazis because of their Indian origins. That would be interesting!

There are some very fine actors in bollywood too who do different kind of movies such as Rajkumar, Ayushman, Nawaz, Kartik, Shahid, Vicky. Its not true that they are not making good films, but the amount of good films is less compared to south indian movies. But south indian consist of 4 different industries. And the public is not supporting the good films in bollywood, they only want to watch movies with item songs. One of the most diferent movie also came from bollywood Tumbadd.

Gone are those days when people used to consider bollywood stars as their role model and they used to follow them blindly .
Moreover, various conspiracies in Bollywood related to homicide ,drugs, casting couch, etc has led to loss of trust in Bollywood people.
I wonder ,during the covid times,Mumbai alone had 36 k crore property stamp duty collection from these actor and actress ,which was disgraceful ,during the times when when people were losing their ends meet , death, austerity ,etc. Also, bollywood celebrities do hell lot of endorsements for products which are either deletrimental to health and society .
There are various other factors bcz of which bollywood will suffer badly in the coming days ......" bollywood's Sun is about to set down ".

It's not about lack of audience for bollywood, it's more about audience wanting to see new faces and different directors be it just plain mass entertainers or new stories that they never get to see like Kantara. People are still going to theater to see commercial cinema but instead of seeing same actor- director from bollywood with similar plot and songs, a telugu or kannada was unknown then and now it appeals to audience nationwide. Moreover bollywood actors who are supposed to look, act and have the charisma of a larger than life characters and entertaining story to match that charisma have failed. But Risabh for instance has put so much effort or Yash or ntr jr in convincing audience and in turn they're so involved that audience is rooting for them.

I dont agree with this statement that nobody is watching Bollywood. Its comes from an ill-informed space of world or lets say section of the society. However, coming to the recent trend of mainstream Bollywood movies not making it big as much as the regional category movies from down south, I would like to assert that its a definite dying trend, and people will realise the power of content cinema too in the near future for sure. The main reason being the ongoing OTT platform-content boom, which will soon catch up, ultimately making the content, the king. I also say that the place for Magnum-opus kinda movies, the so called complete commercial genre will be alive, but ultimately due to increasing awareness and coming together of Indian cinema, transcending the language barriers, may be the dawn of remake-cinemas is coming wherein cross-cultural exchange would happen across the country because of the common scenario in every "wood" of saturation dynamics. For example, the south indian cinema is more on commercial lines, less on content (I mean majority, excluding Malyalam cinema, which was and always rich in quality), has reach its own saturation peaks, wherein the public is definitely open to the content-cinema drive that is happening up north. Well, if I was a producer in Tollywood (I cant speak on behalf of rest of the "woods" of the south) I would definitely would like to experiment with the idea of remaking as many Hindi movies as possible into Telugu, just to experiment with the telugu audiences, so that they can breathe fresh air off the exhaustive and stereotypical narrative-oriented cinema that the are currently watching. I would like to end by saying that Bollywood is one such representative of Indian cinema, where cinema has always evolved and never got saturated. So I will always respect it for that.

Bollywood should show heroines decently in movies. Sexy dressing and hair coloring, rich life style show-off etc won't work here with indian audiences. When heroine wearing glamour dressing in a sentimental scene, audience eyes won't go deep inside the heart and feel that sentiment. Their eyes will stop on the actress skin level itself. Bollywood should stop copying Hollywood style and culture. If you dress and speak like americans, you can't be changed into Americans. We have to safeguard our Indian culture with pride.
