Climate & Terrain - Unreal Engine Grand Stratergy

  • Over the past couple of days I've been implementing a system which utilises Climates and Terrain to determine which trade good to be placed in a province. It still needs a bit more work but I've implemented a couple of new mapmodes to show the diversity of the terrain and climate.
    For climates: blue-green is oceanic, Dark green is continental, Light-green is sub-tropical, yellow is mediterreanean, Orange is arid-hot, white is arid-hot and blue is polar.
    For Terrains: Grey is mountains, light green is flat, dark green is forest, white is wasteland, light brown is forest hills, dark brown is hills.

    Incredible work 🎉 when can we see the other regions? Really interested to see an indian map rendered in Unreal 😆

    How many years of experience of gamedev do you have? Because this is actually very highlevel indie gamedev.

      Thanks. I have a background in this sort of thing in terms of work. I probably have used unreal for 4 or so years personally.
