The music at 6:15 is there to inform you that a bombshell of an idea is about to be dropped. 🔥 Great insight!

I am shocked to see person like JP could be so ignorant about his own confirmation biases.

Bible:….there are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him:17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,18 a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil,19 a false witness who breathes out lies…….
"You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." John 8:44

And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.
I loved this; it feels a long time in the making. How about have a conversation with a Muslim Intellectual, like Hamza Yusuf over at Zaytuna College? Noted conservative intellectual Sir roger Scruton never seemed to have problems in doing so, may he Rest In Peace. Scruton and Hamza Yusuf have had great conversations together. Ayaan is not thoughtful enough, as an outsider to the issue of “Islam.”
Intellectual? Sam Harris will do.
@@TheShootist I think you missed what my comment was about!
Hirsi's evaluation was only based on whatever being portrayed mainstream media, even that is only on surface level.
Utmost admiration and respect for Ayaan. Hirsi Ali.
I am a very big fan of Ayaan Hirsa Ali. She is a true Feminist.
I am sensing a link between this and the moral relativism that is hiding in the logos/morals of people's everyday philosophy.
At 6:00, when Dr. Peterson asked if there was an Islamic equivalent to idea of the intrinsic value of the human beings and equality among human beings?
Just Google human equality in Islam and here it is in the Hadith and the Quran:
"All humans are descended from Adam and Eve," said Muhammad in his last known public speech. "There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, or of a non-Arab over an Arab, and no superiority of a white person over a black person or of a black person over a white person, except on the basis of personal piety and righteousness."
and
"O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Aware.” Quran 49:13
I love Dr Peterson and I hope he doesn't keep bringing on these zionist agents such as Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Gad Saad or even Ben Shapiro, Milo or Sam Harris. These people are merely mouth pieces for the devil, they come to talks with an agenda and have no interest in furthering ideas and discovering the truth. They already know some of the truth and they reject it.
What i think is that Islam resembles Christianity 600 years ago because Christianity predates Islam by that much, so maybe this is just the general course that the Abrahamic religions take.

To clear up some ignorance on this topic I'd recommend having Yasir Qadhi on the podcast
I believe she's talking about the "bigotry of low expectations"
Culture? Polytheist crossworshippers, know that:
1. Your man-god was the first gender changer in the 1st century for turning itself into a baby and then a man with genitals.
2. The 1st human sacrificer of it's own kid as itself in a shapeshifting trinity.
Conclusion:
You have no argument against gender change, abortion or illuminati or pizza gate. Your illegitimate, gender changing baby-man-god was far worse.
Footnote:
And it couldn't help or save itself from its enemies, hence unable to save deluded polytheist crossworshippers.
"Bigotry of low expectation" is nonsense and a supremacist way of thinking. Basically I have to meet your expectations but you don't have to meet my expectations.
@Sara Jamil At 6:00, when Dr. Peterson asked if there was an Islamic equivalent to idea of the intrinsic value of the human beings and equality among human beings?
Ayaan knows that there is, however, being the brainwashed zionist devil she is, she can't share that with Dr. Peterson.

I don't know why Muslims always get so defensive at the slightest criticism of Islam. I'm a commited Christian and I don't agree with every characterization of Christianity by Jordan Peterson but that's no big deal because I understand he's engaging in intellectual discourse and I don't expect him to understand everything I do about my faith. I don't see the need for bashing and name calling of the guest and refering people to be interviewed out of religious sentiments. It's not a religious discourse but an intellectual one. By the way they're looking at Islam from a cultural and pragmatic perspective, how it has shaped the society and affected people's lives and played out in the real world. They're not discussing statements of doctrines and beliefs in Islam.

Because Christianity gets the same amount of demonization Islam does?
@@abdallaosama574 I suppose you meant Christianity doesn't get the same amount of demonization as Islam. If that's the case which is true I guess it's abundantly clear Christianity does not have much atrocities to answer for that has been done in its name as opposed to Islam. Also the the statements of doctrine in Christianity are clear on the prohibition of violence while Islam is ambiguous on that and generally leans towards being radical.
@@zebulunkehndo42 So where is the line or the scale you're using to decide who made more atrocities? And what atrocities rank higher than others? If you think Christian scriptures doesn't have anything about violence then you don't know about the old testament.
@@abdallaosama574 The OT is not Christianity in the sense of the word with respect to Christ's teachings and life but a precursor to it.
The events seen as atrocities in the OT are not atrocities but acts of God's judgement on sinners which Israel herself who was chosen as the 'tool' for God's judgement and revelation of His nature was no exception to His judgement when they indulged in the same things for which the nations around them were destroyed for.
So when I talk of atrocities committed in the name of Christianity I refer to those which were perpetrated when Christianity was used as a political tool by Rome

You get a couple of good jokes as a bonus :-)
... Well, Terence McKenna said that what our present culture amounts to, is good table manners plus genocide.
Interesting viewpoint: Ali gave the idea that people who enact white guilt, ones who preach that the Western white imperialism and its men is the ONLY one to blame for all ill will befallen unto the others, and that THEY are ONLY ones to absolve it all - that it gives a sense of them wanting to be superior over the others, for only the Westerners know how to do it.
It would actually explain my own encounters with such self-punishing preachers of white guilt; they want to be superior and they can do that in disguise by talking that they must undo all wrongs done to other cultures, and I am from an Inuit origin.
I dislike the preachers of white guilt, now with two major reasons to do so.
I have studied in Canada for a couple of years and it became more and more obvious that preachers of white guilt have some sort of supremacy issue themselves, no matter of which ethnicity they actually were. I have never encoutered a level-headed solution to fix issues in a rational way. There was always too much guilt involved.
If there are rational ways to deal with irrational amount of guilt then there aren't many if any. As far as I can tell, suggestion of accepting the guilt as it is, no matter the amount they think themselves there might be, and letting it be for a while might do it. For any historian will be able to tell that many cultures and civilizations had had conquering cases as the Western world, only having the scale as a difference. All have done mistakes and everyone has lost innocence but rarely ever in everyday situation is it appropriate to deem who is more or most wrong. That should be reserved for actually enacted crimes.
Edited: That should be reserved for actually enacted and currently relevant crimes that were caught.
Women had equal status in the Pagan Viking culture.
Who is she?
... Please do one on how to judge a medicine.
Yeah, JP is really good at that...
Hard to believe Jordan Peterson is being so dense wrt Islam.
As a muslim I've always accepted the fact that there will always be people attacking the doctrine of Islam. For some it is because they just hate it, for others it is because they don't understand it. Those that do not understand it are of two categories; 1. Are willing to take time to learn before they speak. 2. Will arrogantly speak with words that reek of ignorance and hate. Ayan Hirsi Ali hates Islam mainly because her parents mistreated her and the culture she comes from condones it and she projected that unto Islam and all Muslims. People must understand that Islam under the leadership of Muhammad (pbuh) met people with existing cultures, and some of those cultures were abandoned because they were in direct contradiction to Islam. During the prophet's lifetime he adjudicated between his people, he prophesied about things to come and provided guidelines/rules/laws etc.
According to Ayan she came from a culture that practices Female Genital Mutilation. And was forced to marry against her explicit wishes. And that when she wanted asylum in the US and started insulting/mocking Islam/Muslims that they threatened her.
1. FGM is definitely a cultural thing. The countries with the highest rate of the practice are mostly African and some if not most of the are not even predominantly Muslim. If you want to convince me that FGM is an Islamic practice the sources have to be the Quran or the Sunnah. If your problem is that your parents even though religious still went against Islam to do this thing then ask how about Muslims that drink alcohol, or adultery? I'm an African too, I'm a Nigerian. I came from a long line of Islamic scholars that traveled all over Africa to preach/settle. When Islam came to Kano for example the people were practicing a version of Islam diluted with their native practices.
2. In Islam it is forbidden for anyone, male or female to be "forced" into a marriage. But it is not wrong for parents to arrange marriage for their child. But the rule is the daughter can keep saying no until they find the right one or she does. There is a lot of conditions on this and could take too long but let's touch on a few. The man will see a girl and go to her father to seek permission to speak with her. The father will investigate the guy to make sure that he is the kind of man he wants for his daughter, if he finds the man acceptable he will tell the girl. The man will come to her and talk under the supervision of her family member, usually a younger sister/brother to keep both of them honest. After a few such "dates", the father will ask her if she likes him. If she says no then the father will call him and tell him to move on, but if she says yes then the father will ask him to come with his parents. Then his family will investigate her family while her family does the same to his, and if everyone is satisfied the marriage will take place. Now if your father because he doesn't want to lose face for having a daughter like you and he decided o force you, how is that Islam's fault?
3. So you insult/ridicule almost 2 billion people and you expect them to what? Celebrate and praise you? This is the part I really have an issue with. Anyone else is allowed to protect their lives, lands, honor, and culture except Muslims. If you try anything they brand you a terrorist and kill you or worse detain you in some unknown prison. Ayan I assure you that Islam doesn't need you and muslims know that. But if you want the west to pity you and give you asylum why not attack Somalia and leave Islam alone
To see a psychologist/social commentator providing someone like Ayan a platform to spread these lies and not call her out on them but also giving her this soft but precise questions really humbled me. That you can reach the intellectual caliber and your personal biases will still creep into your actions is truly humbling. And seriously Dr. do some research on Da'awah then come back and explain to us how she can write a whole book on a subject and lie this much about it and still be called a hero?

The list is long and exhausting!
Islam has no problem . If a Muslim does something bad it's the responsibility of the Muslim not Islam. If a Christian does something bad it's the fault of Christian not christianity. if a Jew or an atheist or a buddist or whatever it s the problem of the agent not the doctrine.... And if there's a religion that preaches bad stuff that's not a trustworthy religion and certainly Islam is a trustworthy religion but if the religious preaches trustworthiness and he or she himself/herself doesn't act so that's his problem not the problem of religion.
If JP tells to his students : do not watch porn it's dangerous for the brain ,detrimental for social life, degrading for health ...! And they decide to watch it and end up picking th symptoms and getting sick and start taking medication or even die , and come Society and start blaming JP rather than blaming their kids ... that's exactly analogously hw Ayan Ali judge Islam instead of judging bad Muslims... !!!
👍👌
Islamic culture? what do you mean by that? do not confuse with arabic culture. To understand about Islam is not by judging and learn from muslim society either in the past or modern, but you must read and understand from the Quran. As long you follow you all the rules and order from it. You can keep your culture as long its didn’t oppose it.
@@atheosmachina As in call it Islamic culture only if it is actually related to Islam.
@@atheosmachina Then it's not Islamic
@@atheosmachina I didn't get it, what do you mean can exist alongside Islam?
@@atheosmachina But by definition if a culture is truly born from a religion and what it says then it can't be incompatible with it. You're treating cultures as something foreign to religion but we're talking about the culture of religion itself.
@@atheosmachina And if a culture belongs to a religion then societal norms that are not part of that religion can exist but can't be contradicting with it or be above it and can't evolve beyond it. You can call it as a culture controlled by religion, and if nothing is contradicting with it then both of their existence should support each other. You can't really say "Christianity" incorporated parts of Paganism, because the religion itself will produce whatever is compatible with it and parts of itself in the culture, but the people themselves that are imbued with that culture can incorporate foreign parts into it that are not compatible with it. You're just not considering the distinction between people and between the actual religion they follow.

Muslims for the most part woukd never accept her just for the simple fact she is a female. Not to be seen or heard and at least in Sunni islam unfit for leadership roles?
@@amanitaeagle4211 She doesn't understand Islam at all and those who interview her intentionally turn a blind eye to her lack of educating, lack of knowledge and completely ignore her lack of references and factual data. They prop her up to deliver her misleading message because it suites their views. A good interviewer challenges his interviewee and asks for data or references unless the message suits them well. I can truly care less about those who bark against Islam. They can do it no harm. The part that bothers me the most is they are misleading others and those who are blinded accept their message without researching (searching a couple of words to support your view is not research). Most of those who took the time to understand Islam became Muslims. I invite you to read the Quran ignoring what you were taught and then judge for yourself. This is for your. @@amanitaeagle4211 As a person who actually understands Islam, there is a lot for women in Islam. Islam elevates humanity (Men and Women). Someone who doesn't understand it will say otherwise because of lack of knowledge, what they were told or hate.
With that said, you have to distinguish between culture and religion. Many confuse the two and unfortunately a lot of Muslims do. There are plenty of traditional oppressive traditions that Islam disagrees with and even stands against that some Muslims mistakenly actually practice. Those who learn the religion know the truth and understands the difference between the two. I view culture and traditions as someone else's baggage, you can choose to follow it or decline it. I would have no opinion on that.
Bashing Islam because of confusion, lack of understanding and knowledge or blind hate is what I stand against. She can never stand for a second in front of a knowledgeable Muslim. All of her Islam bashing statements can be refuted by a 5 year old with basic knowledge. Her mission is to mislead and gain financially. She can care less about those who end up believing her. Those who want to believe her, but have a bit of intellect, would read the Quran and verify her accusations. People of intellect are sadly rare.
@@mohammedgt8102 man you wrote an book 🤣 im not reading it all but I read up to the part regarding culture and religion and ayaan definitely in her books attributes a lot of her difficulties to Islam where it's pretty clear her families pre Islamic culture and attitudes is also making her miserable.
