Our politicians in America 🇺🇲🕯️🇮🇱 should be required to read the Qu'ran to understand their teachings and Ideologies so they can understand the Extreme threats thereof.
Like the book Art Of War to understand tactics of ones enemies in combat, so should All of Our military 🪖💪🏽🪖 in the Western Free World 🌎🌍 and All Politicians must read it so we have an upper hand on the enemies. I'm Not saying All Muslims are fundamentalist, one must Not judge the people in Islam, rather we Must judge the BOOK(s) of the religion and it's teachings by way of both the Qu'ran and the Hadiths/Sunnah. †

It is very interesting that Ms. Ali said that Islam is like a coin with 2 sides - spiritual and political. Tom Holland made a presentation on British TV - Islam: The Untold Story. In it, he makes the following bold thesis about Islam that I haven't seen repeated anywhere else.
Mr. Holland thinks that the standard Islamic narrative of the Muhammad receiving his revelations which led to the formation of Arab military might and then the eventual Islamic empire that spanned 3 continents should be seen in reverse. He claims that the Arabs first conquered their empire and then began to fabricate the rules of Islam.
The early raiders noticed that the Byzantine and Sassanid Empires were badly depopulated because of constant war, barbarian invasions, and plaques. As the Arabs conquered more land, their elites observed that Christianity had been the spiritual force that revitalized the dying Roman (Byzantine) Imperium and especially its armies. The Arab elites wanted that spiritual power to bolster morale in their own armies so they tried to copy the Abrahamic traditions. Of course, they were illiterate so they couldn't read any copies of the Bible they came upon. Also, they wanted to make their new religion, Islam, distinct from Judaism and Christianity.
One of they ways they did this was by elevating the status of one of their itinerant spiritual preachers into the "Last Messenger of God" as a rival to Jesus Christ. The historical Muhammad might have had a very different life than what the "official" Muslim sources say about him. He might even have been the amalgamation of several different men: an Arab warlord, a pagan sorcerer , a renegade Jewish mystic (emulating Jesus and John the Baptist), and a heretic Christian monk from one of the heterodox sects.

I was reading her book Prey and the same week two young women were surrounded and beaten by a group of ten men in Halifax. No Canadian news wanted to publish where they were from, but the Daily Mail did. She writes about this kind of aggression towards woman and worse is a normal thing in Europe and in some neighbourhoods are now impossible to police, but in Canada it still seems unusual. Would it happen in the US since they are not as pacifist in their culture? Regardless, the million people + coming to the Canada every year the past few years without enough oversight means yes, this could easily become the norm in Canada and that areas may become above and beyond the laws here as well. As a woman, I am not encouraged by a Leftist leadership that claims to be feminist and yet risks putting women and the vulnerable in such dangerous potential aggressive situations and abuse.

Are you asking me or answering yourself? We move in different circles, I guess. I'm such an outlier myself anyway (Ajuraan), Somali Kenyan born abroad. There are plenty of Somali Christians, just as there are Somali ex-Muslims in Oslo, Helsinki, Addis Ababa, Nairobi, Brisbane, New York, London, Rotterdam, and even in Hargeisa and Mogadishu.
But if you were genuinely asking out of curiosity instead of lowkey trying to insult, Somali Christians are often socioeconomically higher up on the ladder in the Western Hemisphere: higher education, better jobs, that combination. Not being Muslim means living in different neighborhoods, residing in different parts of the city, and going out with friends to venues where Muslims don't necessarily frequent. Obviously, we don't go to mosques, so you won't see us there either. I've been Eastern Orthodox for the long term, so you'll only find me at the parish where I live.
The highest chance of you meeting on a Somali Christian is in Westlands Nairobi, or Netherlands I guess. But you never know, most Somali Christians don't carry the pendant necklace.
