I love how you’re all so polite when you’re being taught something. I’ve been a HGV instructor for 20 years and I’ve never been called Sir by a pupil…. Only ever as a customer somewhere or by the traffic police!

Interesting, informative, entertaining, worth the time to watch. As with all Dales lessons, he taught more than rodeoing. Lessons: paying attention; patience, for sure, willingness to try more than once; to not quit. Entertaining: love Dales laugh when something genuinely "tickles him". Close down the high schools and send them all to Radiator Ranch; for book learnin', job skills, and life.

I think "Turn and burn" is a barrel racing term. LOL. From someone that's learning to team rope right now this is a great video. Thx for posting.
No it's team roping and there actually use to be a company yrs ago called "turn n burn team roping" out of south texas

If looking for other helpful tips look up Jake Barnes and clay O'Brian Cooper. Them two were the best in the world and I feel like they set the way for team roping today

One last word. Dale, make no mistake, you can RIDE! I think this went so well because I’ve always thought team roping was 85% horsemanship. Ya can teach a chimp to swing a rope if ya got enough bananas. Teach to ride, not so much.

how long did it take your get become more consistent with roping? I just started last week and i started out well and lately i seem to be regressing... how long did it take your to learn how to aim and throw the rope?
