I just found this video. I'm 100% new to roping. I learning to rope for some ranch riding clinics. I've been practicing with a used rope. I couldn't even tell you what it is. I have to use a breakaway hondo. Do you have a suggestion for me to purchase?
Hiya! I've been looking for a nice rope to just play around and practicing whenever I go to the country side, but unfortunatnly here in Barcelona it seems a bit hard to find a good rope or at least one that's stiff enough to keep the coils nice and round withouth being floppy like a climbing rope. Any recommendations on what to look for or maybe you know any european brands? thanks a lot!
Also, I'm left handed, what is the diference of the ropes for left handed and right handed? the direction they are breaided? how it affects the handling?

I’ve been getting into roping and hoping to get some more practice before a job this summer. I was wondering what is the difference between a 3 and 4 strand and why would someone wanna use either or? I was also wondering what is a good length for just everyday ranch work?
I prefer a 3 strand. It is stronger and usually has a bit more body and a 50’ is a great length

How much for your gold poly rope
Any recommendations for a rope used exclusively for horses and foals? I am a small time horse breeder and have recently been working on my roping in case un trained foals escape in addition to just general colt starting with a rope.
