If the Lakers starting lineup next year is Lonzo, PG, Ingram, Lebron, Randle. That's 6'7, 6'8, 6'9, 6'9, 6'10 they could literally switch defensively at any position that defense alone could win them a championship no one in the whole NBA would have a line-up like that.

I think Cowherd heavily over exaggerates Ingram and Kuzma's 3-point shooting. Yes Ingram shoots 38.0% which is pretty good, but he only attempts 1.8 a game. He's predominantly a slasher and likes going to the hoop. He's not an off ball spot up shooter. Kuzma shoots more at 5.4 a game at a solid 36.3%, but his 3-point % has plummeted in January and February shooting about 32% in both months compared to near 40% before January. He's not a natural 3 shooter, he shot barely above 30% in college. Kuzma is another guy who is much better at using his size and getting to the hoop, not being a spot-up 3 shooter.
Kuzma said at the start of the season that the reason he had trouble shooting 3's in college was due to his shot being slightly too strong. He thinks the NBA 3 point line is more natural to him. You have to remember that those guys are still really young so there is a good chance they just keep improving in the next 1-4 years.

Imagine Lebron in Phili with Simmons and Embid, I mean think about it what team can compete in the paint against them with Embid getting help from a 6'9 Lebron James and a 6'10 Ben Simmons. Does rebounds, Ofensive and Defense game in the paint will be a force. Not to mention the shooters they would have and need to get.
Bron with the Sixers wouldn't be a good match. Lakers are clearly the best place for him to go, Bron with Ingram, Ball, Josh Hart, Kuzma and if they can keep Randle along with PG would definitely be the best choice

Lebron is an amazing player, and of course to most, the best player in the east, the NBA, and the world. His 15th season has been nothing short of phenomenal. No player has impacted the game more for this long. Emphasis on "for this long".
Where I disagree with Chris Broussard, is where he says Kyrie Irving is closer to Lebron than any of player in the east, when I'm not so sure I'd choose Kyrie over The Greek Freak, to start my franchise.
Now, this isn't a slight to Kyrie, and this is why.
Besides his shooting ability (which will get better) I would surmise that The Greek Freak's length on defense and overall offensive ability is preferential to that of Kyrie. Some may disagree and that's fine and concede Kyrie better based on his unique ability to finish in the paint, etc. But you can teach height. Couple that with immense talent and upside and you have yourself something close to unstoppable in the NBA.

I don't get this idea that "Cavs are clearly" going to win the East... Torornto can battle and beat both Cavs and Boston. Ibaka is a defensive force with good offensive repertoire, Lowry can ball and DeRozan plays out of his mind most nights.

The Lakers players have a better personality to play with Lebron. Zo respects Lebron and will listen to him and respect whatever he says to make him better. I think that's the best situation for Lebron. Zo has a great personality for him and I think all the young talent on the Lakers will listen to Lebron and be a sponge because I think they want that leadership to guide them to greatness.
