LeBron or Kobe - Who is the better player?
lbj man
The one who don't create super teams !
Mamba all day
lightmyfire88 Kobe tried to with Nash and Howard nice try tho.
Wolves Fan since 2017 nash was over the hill, bronsexual
i swear Chris backs up and has facts for everything. This dude's logic is too strong, he needs his own show he's too good for these guys
He has his own podcast on FS1. It is pretty damn good. You should check it out.
i sure will my man. Thanks
Way too good for these guys
No. He's slightly better than the rest, but you could easily pick apart some of his foolish arguments.
He is better at knowing his nba, but as a gambling man on nfl, i can tell u that Colin typically knows his stuff for the most part when it comes to college football and nfl
hakeem is so slept on
James Harden best center imo
Thank you! People who understand
@James Harden, I agree. He should be around top 5 all time in my opinion
Not really
Definitely
Hakeem Olajuwon is the only player in NBA history to win a title without another All-star, finished top ten in FIVE statistical categories when he retired, is the most versatile player in NBA history and played during the golden era of big men and DOMINATED all of them. He's hands down the best center off all-time and is 100% a top ten all-time player.
Agreed.
dy120481 agreed.
Hakeem is great but to say clyde drexler is not an all star is foolish
@BrandenReil Dream won his first title in 94 w/o Drexler. Drexler joined Rockets next year via trade. Get your facts straight. Dream > Kobe, Shaq & Lebron
Navaro Palm Exactly. Everything I wrote is fact. There's literally never been anyone else in NBA history to do what Olajuwon did. Also, I've played with/against a ton of NBA player's and to a man they all said Kobe Bryant was the best dude they ever played against, including Jordan and James, though admittedly Jordan was old by then.
7:18 wtf was that
Colin went from Lebron is the GOAT to he's 5th best
Ryan Allyn he was pushing an agenda.
Can you say sellout?
Thank god tho. LeBron is 8 for me.
Ryan Allyn
Lmao foreal. All of this year, he said lbj was better than Jordan and now jordans 1 and lebron is 5.
Makes no sense
8 lol yeah okay
man hakeem is so underrated
Yes he is, the younger generation that did not see Hakeem play have no idea how great that man was.
all centers need a great guard? Absolutely not... Hakeem Olajuwon no guard not even an All Star. Sure he got Clyde but that wasnt until later and Clyde wasnt in his prime. Hakeem is so slept on. Dwight didnt have a great guard either. (in his Finals app. year)
Hakeem had very good guards though, but yes not great.
1 2 no win tho
94 rockets had smith Maxwell elie cassel and Herrera off the bench ..they had 5 good guards...
Asmosis Jones not great guards. Good, but hes the only Great Player to win a Ring WITHOUT another All Star.
he had David Robinson
1. MJ
2. Kareem
3. LeBron
4. Magic
5. Bird
6. Wilt
7. Kobe
8. Shaq
9. Duncan
10. Hakeem
deonta thomas KOBE IS ABOVE BIRD
Donald Hartley no he's not
deonta thomas yes he is. Bird said it himself. U know u didn’t even watch bird
why isn't he? facts not opinions.
dennis pulliam He's a better all around stats proves that, better efficiency stats proves that, and played in a tougher era
The amount of disrespect that people like Colin show towards Kobe Bryant is an absolute joke. Stop trying to compare. Great players are great players. Appreciate what the man did for the city of Los Angeles and the Laker legacy. There will never be another player like him, and people should respect what he means to the league and people around the world.
Well said bro . Speakin Facts ! ✅
Nothing wrong with comparing but Kobe is too low on the list
Colin is just very opinionated. Rarely ever correct.
The Duncan disrespect.
He’s not disrespected. He had Greg Popovich. He should be just barely top 10
@@hunternixonfishing2500 facts. People always think it’s cool to act like Duncan top 7 or something he’s not not close to that. In his peak he wasn’t near as high as the others
@@Jsoccer1999 hater
@@hunternixonfishing2500 well jordan had phil, not to mention pippen
@@hunternixonfishing2500 He had Greg Popovich??? Greg Popovich had him!!! For the first 10 years of that coaches career he called ONE play 65% of the time. I love how Colin always has his mind set about a topic... until Chris gets on the show and spits facts and changes Colin's mind 😂😂😂
WTF is whit that list hahaha.
The man calls LeBron the greatest player ever, every show he is mentioning how LeBron is better then Jordan and then the list comes out and he has LeBron at 5th hahaha.
Pickle Rick Collin is very smart he knows talking about LeBrons greatness over the Goat will sell every time he's just doing his job.
Top 10
1 MJ
2 Kareem
3 Kobe
4 Magic
5 Lebron
6 Shaq
7 Duncan
8 Russell
9 Wilt
10 Bird
magic at 4 I would put him at 7 or 8 and put bird wilt and Russell a little higher just my opinion though
I hate how Colin always discredits all of LeBron's past and present teammates. Just to make him look even better. The truth is, that LeBron has played with amazing talent. Stop lying to yourself Colin.
Alex Sander name the amazing talents from 03-10 LeBron. If he has played with amazing talent then why did the Cavs go from winning 60 plus games in 09-10 to winning 19 games the next year when he left?
exactly, nick wright too.
Because it's the truth, LeBron in all his years has only played with one other top 10 players in D-Wade. Look at the NOLA, Houston, GS, OKC having 2+ 10 players then compare that to LBJ's team. The closest he had was Kyrie who had tons of flaws himself.
From 2011-Present Bron never played on a bad teams.
If Lebron isn’t in your Top 5, you just a hater. Simple as that.
He need 2 more rings for Top 5 debate.
He's not a top 5 player though. Hasn't earned it, the bar has been set, he has the statistical resume locked down but that's not enough.
Puck He is better than everyone ever except maybe two, no question. Therefore he is top 5. Rings are a team acomplishment
Puck you that idiot from the other day, you clearly don’t know basketball, I’m not about to waste my time
Nope, he hasn't deserved that yet. He's currently a borderline top 5 player
I'm so confused. For the last 2 years, you've been saying LeBron's the best player you've seen, yet he's 5th?!
Shawn Kemp huh??? That Sacramento team was solid at every position! Mike bibby, peja sto, Doug Christie, webber and divac??? They could have won but they couldn't have get pass l.a. every person on that roster was better than when james went to his 1st finals.
Shawn Kemp wtf is this rbu dumb???
Shawn Kemp facts
/Salvatore Sultana, he said LBJ was the "best-all around player" not the best

OKC was 7-3 in their last 10 games 3rd best in the western conference . But due to their rough start showing their current record people just gon keep being negative .
LMFAO IM DEAD, CHALMERS WAS A KILLER
Hakeem is def a top 10... not sure what he's smokin.
How do they have Shaq above Hakeem when Shaq doesn't even have himself above Kakeem? Shaq has it Kareem > Hawkeem > Shaq. The Hawkeem disrespect needs to be checked.
"Mario Chalmers is a killer" 2018 I'm still laughing too weak.
Why nobody gives Kobe his credit??What Magic or Kareem did that Kobe didn't??5 Rings,mvp,18 times all star,3rd scorer of all time.He has done everything,he carried the league and nobody was able to beat him in his prime.Players like iverson, mcgrady, carter, nash(hall of famers) never won a ring BECAUSE of Kobe Bryant. The media keep saying that Lebron is the best player for 10 years blah blah blah...Kobe was the best player in the NBA until his achilles injury. The guy is up there with Michael Jordan.
#FACTS
Θεοδόσης Σπαζοκλανίδιας Duncan beat Kobe I'm his prime 02-03
Kareem have the same or more rings, more MVPs and Kareem has more all star apprentices as well as the all time top scorer so not sure what point you're trying to make. Magic made others better; Kobe just shot the ball a lot
Issac Sanchze kobe beat duncan in 01 02 04 08
Θεοδόσης Σπαζοκλανίδιας nah you just give kobe too much credit
The Kobe hate will always be real, in retirement and when he was playing. These the same guys who used to argue T-Mac was better lol ... All this hype about Bron being better, but when Shaq left Kobe got 2 rings with Gasol and a bunch of scrubs? Want to argue? Take Gasol away, who else on those championship teams did ANYTHING once they left that laker team? I'll Wait.
gasol and bynum were great players what r u smoking
and he was carried to 3 of his rings by shaq in his prime just saying
I'm a huge Kobe fan but gasol and bums? Bynum was considered one of the best if not the best big man in the league then you had Odom and Fischer was not the best but absolutely not a bum
Not to mention Artist on that team... Everybody need players around them.....
Lmao he's like "let's debate" and everyones cooking him in this comment section
2:22 “what the heck do I do with Kareem!” 😂😂😂
Damn these guys were close to predicting Westbrook to the Rockets
I don't get this Kobe LeBron debate. LeBron > kobe it's clear as day
5/7 > 3/8 soon to be 3/9
lightmyfire88 3 finals MVP's > 2 finals MVP's💯
Kobe as the actual best player of the finals: 2/7
Is Jordan better than LeBron? Then Kobe is better than LeBron. Simple as that.
3 chips>1 more finals MVP
The disrespect on Kobe
Curry will surpass Kobe for sure can I get an amen?

Kobe an inefficient ball hog. No disrespect here whatsoever. Chris had him 7, gtfoh
Kobe should be higher on Broussard board
mic quality so good holy
hakeem didn’t have an amazing guard for his first chip
Kenny smith😅😅
Kenny Smith averaged 5 points a game that season if I remember right. Maxwell was decent, but none of these guys were all stars. Cassell became an all star 10 years later.
Why is Olajuwan so slept on. Most skilled bigman of all time. Any disagreements about my top ten as valid apart from Hakeem being top 5 and the order of the top 3.
1 . Jordan
2. Lebron
3. Magic
4. Shaq
5. Olajuwan
6. Kareem
7. Bird
8. Kobe
9. Duncan
10. Dr. J
CJ C lmao frfr. He's probably the most versatile player the game has ever seen. And he was so dominant defensively he could control an entire game on defense alone. Lol not many ppl know Kobe trained with Hakeem.
Being a nice guy and a good teammate takes points off your greatness in a lot of peoples eyes, but in mine it adds points. Being a good teammate is being a good player. At the end of the day Basketball is a team sport.

1. Jordan
2. LeBron
3. Kobe
4. Bird
5. Magic
3-5 are interchangeable imo
Tier lists ftw
You Clearly have no idea who Wilt Chamberlain was, by todays standard he is tall, by todays standard he would be the fittest person in the league, by todays standard he would be the strongest person in the league, but because he played in the era he did Michael is regarded as better, thats the only reason. I forgot to mention he versed a super team every year Bill Russels Celtics, they changed the rules of the game because of Wilt.
SuperJohn12354 Wilts numbers alone put him in my top 5, however I have to take into account the era he played in. Wilt was a freak athlete so regardless of era I believe he'd be great, but playing in the 60s when there were only 8 teams definitely helped. Btw I clearly said NON BIGS so Kareem, Wilt, Russell, Shaq, Duncan are all not included.
Isaac Royal *"Clearly"* props bro
Isaac Royal yea no current nba fans ever saw him play in his prime, but they did run the fast break a lot back then so he would be running up the court like Lebrun at 7’1

Wyatt Tyler agreed Lebron the greatest
Randy Lopez like what
Got the same list as u
Kobe from 04-05 (Shaq left) to 09-10 (last title) led the regular season and postseason in scoring. He actual shot more efficiently than LeBron during this stretch, even though LeBron takes more efficient shots. Kobe led the 2000s decade in PPG. He has 11 All-NBA First Team selections and 9 All-NBA First Team Defense. Won three titles in a 3-peat and created one of the greatest duos ever in doing so. People delegitimized those titles and he went on to win 2 more without Shaq. Some great players never win one let alone win three and win another to to legitimize his first three titles. You can argue that Kobe started to decline after 2008 (he wasn’t as athletic and injuries were taking their toll), so he probably won two titles back-to-back and two Finals MVPs past his prime!
1. Jordan
T2. Kareem, Wilt, Russell
5. LeBron
6. Magic
7. Kobe
8. Bird
9. Duncan
10. Shaq
put Bird at 7 ahead of Magic at 8 kobe and 6 and that's perfect for me just my opinion of course do whatever you want lol
Finn Burke disagree pretty significantly that bird> magic but I respect it man. Also my views have changed within the top 5 I think KAJ is 2 and LBJ is 3 and 4th tied with wilt/bill
@@devman3554 yeah I agree with everything u just said of course excluding bird and magic i'm a Celtics fan so I'm a bit biased.
Not wasting broussard on lonzo talk? Am I watching the right show?
Kobe is getting hated on the media so much n is so disrespectful. To me it’s all about your impact & what is your impact? Like people say lebron makes his teammates bc he passes the ball. How important is assists in basketball? Steve Nash n Chris Paul never made it to the finals. Okay Majic did but it’s bc he had great players around him. Kobe was cold blooded scorer. He’d go into your house take over games drop 40 n then hate the game winner. Lebron is great don’t get me wrong but man the media amp him to much just bc he’s been a celeb since hs. Kobe was the ultimate competitor proved he can win with out Shaq better scorer than lebron and can take over games on his own and btw played in a tougher game conference with better players. And never played on a super team. Lebron got killed by KD in the finals & no one talks about that.
Billy Mitch having 2 of the 3 best players in the game on the same team from 00-04 qualifies as a super team especially considering what everyone else had.
Other top players in that span:
Duncan had aging Robinson
Webber best teammate was White chocolate Bibby or Peja
Dirk had Nash (pre D’Antoni) and Michael Finley
AI had Mutombo
Carter and McGrady made the playoffs one time together then played with trash
Pierce had Antoine Walker
Jason Kidd had Kenyon Martin
KG had Sprewell and Cassell for one good year
So yes the lakers were a super team when compared to other teams in that era.
Lebron always had two superstars on his team from08-10 kobe only had gasol
This vid is really good tbh. Just 2 dudes/analysts chatting about basketball

The first 5 on my list were something special, very unique and all of them were leaders. All of them accomplished at least one thing that is completely unmatched 'til this day, all of them were extremely important for the league. MJ at 1 is no debate to me, LeBron doesn't slow down at all and is still the best player in the league, will have a longer career which puts him over Magic. Magic's championships and having the bigger impact as a leader puts him over Wilt in my opinion. Wilt has to be the next in line for being the most dominant player ever AND being extremely skilled besides being very tall. Bird would be at the very least lone number 5 if he stayed healthy. His shortened career leaves the door open for other exceptional players and I really don't wanna choose at 5 'cause you can make a legit argument for all of them:
Bird was arguably the most special player among those 4, the most clutch shooter in history and a fantastic leader who maxed out his talent. Kareem the all-time scoring leader, the skyhook and being a force for so many years on both ends. Bird got the edge in terms of leadership though and being the clear number 1 on his team which makes up for a shorter career to my mind.
Olajuwon to me is the greatest combination all-time of an amazing player who fits on ANY team. The perfect package of a two-way player, dominance, size, physicality, skills, leadership and versatility. A shame he's so underrated. Russell the greatest winner of all-time and to me also the greatest leader of all-time, a fantastic rebounder and defender. I know, Celtics were dominant those days but why? Russell beat Wilt on a regular basis, he won when he was young, he won when he was old, he won when his team was the underdog, he won when it looked like he couldn't win, he simply belongs up there.
Duncan and Kobe is the next couple I find difficult to pick one over the other. Kobe was more special individually but I give Duncan the edge as a factor on both ends of the floor for his entire career and I believe personalitywise Duncan would have brought success to any franchise, Kobe was way more difficult as a player and teammate which might have jeopardized winning 5 chips on a different team with a different coach. Being forced to choose, I'd put Kobe at 9 but I think a tie is fair here.
Couldn't stop at 10 guys for I believe Oscar and Jerry West deserve to be mentioned when you talk about the greatest of all-time.
Forget about pace, forget about the game back then, the simple fact that Oscar's triple-double record wasn't matched in the slightest for more than 50 years (!) shows you how much ahead of his time this guy played. He could do it all and I don't want to punish him for not being on one of the all-time great teams. Individually he belongs at 11 at the very least, not having him seen play I got the feeling I still rank him too low... Same goes for Jerry West, he was a genius as a shooter and shows until today what a genius of a basketball savant he is. With more championships both he and Oscar would be right up there with Kobe and Duncan.
Nowitzki: notoriously underrated, maybe the best teammate all-time, revolutionized the game, maxed out his talent like Bird did. Beating LeBron, DWade and Bosh in their prime with a team that neither had the star power nor were the stars it had in their prime themselves. Will end up 6th or 7th on the all-time scoring list, clutch player and a great leader by example. No doubt he'd have more rings if he wasn't as loyal as he is.
Shaq: Yes, many will disagree but I don't care. I agree you'd take Shaq over Nowitzki starting a franchise but I always found that a weak argument. I'm aware of Shaq's dominance but let's look into it: Shaq comes up short in terms of leadership compared to every single player mentioned above. He comes up short skillwise, didn't have the footwork, didn't have a lot of moves, couldn't shoot. He comes up short as a defender for his size, Kareem, Duncan, Russell, Olajuwon, Wilt - all of them were much better defensive players. Shaq wasn't a gifted passer either. He wasn't even an exceptional rebounder for his size. To finish it off he always had great players around him throughout his career, with every single championship. If you're not the clear leader on those teams, I can't weigh those championships nearly as heavy as Nowitzki's does for I got serious doubts Shaq would have won more or any if he'd stayed on Orlando which wasn't a bad team to begin with. To top it off, there were ways to slow down Shaq and reduce his impact as a dominant player tremendously: Rodman could, Olajuwon could, a team fouling him could. Not being a great passer left the option of double teams too so without Kobe and DWade I don't know how dominant we would remember Shaq and how many rings he'd have today. At the end of the day it's Shaq's size, his physical dominance, his ability to score and move in the paint what remains. Not enough for me to take him over the guys in front of him, please feel free to disagree.
Stockton: Isiah Thomas was my other option but man, Stockton was that good at both ends of the floor, had such a long career and was so difficult to play against. Couldn't disagree though to see Isiah in the top15. Steph got a long way to go to surpass these two but to my mind he's the next player who could.
Come throw some arguments at me why I'm wrong, always like to talk hoops. Cheers
Suspicious play in la kc game hill Hayward td. Hayward had calf injury, 4.6 speed to 4.2 speed of hill, man coverage, no safety help, 3 man rush. No nfl coordinator would have allowed that.
One of Kobe and Shaqs rings were rigged.
Klay Thompson shutup, jealous warrior fan
The Lakers Kings series right?
How bout suspending Draymond ?
Get Broussard his own damn show!
These list are bananas lol
What is amazing about the lists I see are that if you look at it, most of these guys were freak athletes or physical freaks in size. What’s impressive is Kobe, magic, bird and Tim Duncan managed to make the list, despite not being the most athletically or physically gifted. They weren’t the tallest, fastest, strongest, biggest which shows how skilled they actually were.
Magic was a 6’9 point guard. That’s physically gifted.
Hakeem over Shaq any day..
Taimoor Khan naw bro bt its close
Yes. Every day and twice on Sunday.
Shawn Kemp wait 2 and 3 all time or among centers?
I agree 100%
Nope.
Why do people think Pau gasol was some kind of God if he's so great why hasn't he been able to help another team get to the finals? Bynum is out of the league as well as Lamar Odom so where are all these basketball legends that kobe had on his team that supposedly helped him get his two rings? I don't understand how people can try and take credit away from kobe for winning a champion ring but ride lebron's sack for making it to the finals I didn't know we started counting failures as accomplishments good to know
Sebastian Sanchez shaq still better than kobe
Game 7 vs Celtics and tell me who carried who. Game 7 of the FINALS
Who was his coach lmao one of the greatest of all time
Brian L kobe never had a signature moment or dominated a final being the main guy
Christian Malbroux you saw what Phil Jackson did in new York when he didn't have a great player right?
1. MJ
2. LeBron
3. Magic
4. Kareem
5. Kobe
6. Shaq
7. Bill Russell
8. Bird
9. Duncan
10. Hakeem
Confident in my top 5, though Kareem should probably be over Magic.
Brandon Eaton this is perfect
Duncan and Kobe not in ur top 10 just immediately tells the listener that the guy who made the list doesn’t know anything
Hakeem over Shaq any day. If he had half the talent most of these superstars got to play with, he would be at least a 4 time champ (he was old when that superteam was made).
I'll take Dream over Kobe, Shaq and Lebron. Dream single-handed took his team to the title in 1994. No one else on his team was ever an all star. The next year he repeated despite being the 6th seed in the West.
He doesn't get the credit where its due. He was the most dominant center in the age of centers. He had to take down Malone, Barkley, Shaq and Robinson in the 1995 playoffs, all in their primes with an aged Clyde Drexler. In 1994, he had to take down Barkley, Malone, and Ewing. Frustrating how nobody talks about how great of a player he was
He is not born American and overall, he is not a skilled speaker, not very media like guy, thats why.
@@celticsnation3689 shaq was in his second year in 95, not in his prime for sure...
Who was Hakeem’s great guard
Lebrons Father Clyde Drexler was there
a 33 year old Clyde Drexler past his prime. Hakeem won Houston a chip a year before drexler came anyways
Sam Cassell bro.
Chris Lang cassell wasn't great on Houston, he averaged 6 points his first year and 9 his second with less than 5 assists. He had his best years in Milwaukee and Minnesota like 10 years later
Kenny ‚the jet‘ Smith
Realest thing ever “chalmers is a killer” he’s so underrated he was a knockdown 3pt shooter and clamped up on D and he always gave 100 percent and when needed he could step up, there were times Bosh and Wade struggled and Chalmers could hit 5 threes and get to the basket when needed to make up for it, Chris a real one
Why do people rank players they’ve never seen play? I understand looking at the resumé of a player from the past and respecting it but you have to watch them with your own two eyes to really give a honest opinion. That’s why Nick Wright loses credibility when he talks Jordan vs LeBron.
Rick Scorsese Thats right one big reason i don't take any opinion about, a player from someone serious if they never watch them play, just going off what they see now.
Top 10 WITHOUT Hakeem Olajuwon is a JOKE. Shaq over Hakeem is even worse JOKE.
bmw740v8 agreed
Numbers dont lie shaq had a better career
Shaq had a better career.
Hakeem is all time leader in blocks. And Shaq ? In missed Free Throws maybe.
Bill russell better career jordan still better. Yawn
I would post my top 10 but i know nobody cares what a Warriors fan thinks😂
+Dub Nation If you're unbiased it's fine. But if it's based on your own personal favorites then you'll get roasted.
Damn that Westbrook comparison to AI is so spot on and I never even thought of it. MORE BROUSSARD, Colin and him have dat chemistry
This show is the best one out of any on the two networks Colin keeps it so real says what everyone thinking
Put Duncan on the 2006-2007 Cavs and I doubt they make it out the 1st round.
LeBron took that trash to the finals.
Put him on any team and that's a contender
