Nikon Z6III , Will the Z6 III have a 24mp or 33mp sensor and a new idea for the Nikon Z7III.
Answering some of your Kacey @cameraconspiracies video comments I received from this video on the Nikon Z 85mm f1.2 3D pop video

Yesterday I got my Nikkor Z 58mm f/0.95! Fantastic lens! I posted a comment on that other video. Once again, many thanks! 🙏
I would prefer Z7III ~61MP and Z6III ~33 MP
Same Page!
Agreed!
Absolutely
Agreed! As a Z5 owner looking to upgrade, the question of 24 vs ~33 MP is actually a make-or-break criterion for me personally. I know that many others would disagree and say that 24 is enough, but if I'm shelling out ~2.500 bucks for a new body I want it to have the resolution I'm looking for.
33MP is an absolute necessity for Z6iii, if they still use 24MP sensor it's a non-starter for me.
Z5ii and ZF 24mp, z6iii 32-36mp, z7iii 60-65mp, z8, z9 45mp.
Entry level full frame 24mp (and retro). 32-36mp workhorse all rounder focusing on sports/wildlife. 60-65mp product/studio photography video specs less important. 45mp are the high end perfect all rounders, at a high end price.
Apsc should be 24mp in any update, with a high end sports apsc in 34mp, and a rangefinder styled 34mp apsc as a killer street kit (something with that black and white switch from the ZF)
I loved Gravity. Excellent cinematography. Unfortunately, I was watching it on an iPad, so the sound was just “good”, but it was a great experience regardless. Perhaps one day I will be able to enjoy it in a proper home theater. Bullock and Clooney’s performances were top notch.
Lots of interesting topics Vahagan... I think you could do a boot camp on venue portraits or your wedding/engagements shoots. Those videos you did in past showed the quality of your work.
By now sensor technology has improved from the Z6 Sensor that is in both the Z6 and Z6II where a 30-33mp sensor would not lose the low light advantage the 24mp sensor has. 33mp would be better for 6K Opengate video. Z6iii with a stacked 33mp sensor with a 1/500 flash sync would be useful to wedding photographers especially with F1.2 lens outdoors.
I have the OG Z6, I do 90% still and landscape. Honestly, if the only things I got that were new were autofocus and processing, I'd be happy and buy.
With pixel shift you can easily achieve great detail with a 24MP sensor. Cheaper but still more versatile. With my Z8 I am locked in at 45MP. I can't downshift for low light unless they bring in pixel binning.
@@Ben_Stewart Have you tried using Pixel shift on your Z8?
The ZF does all those things if you are a landscape shooter. I hope the Z6iii has more sensor readout speed than the ZF.
I found Camera Conspiracies channel through his other channel Vegetable Police. He's entertaining. Been subbed to both channels for years. He only recently started using Nikon gear. To be fair I don't seriously believe anything anyone says about any lenses, products etc. I like to see for myself. Some of my favorite lenses are hated on by plenty of CZcamsrs 😅 I don't have an opinion on the 85mm Z because I'm poor and can't afford one. However... the F mount 85mm f1.4 is the bees knees 👌
On the surface, more megapixels frequently is equated with better, but the A9III, D5, D6, R3, and upcoming R1 underscore “better” cannot be reduced to any one characteristic. I’ll be happy with 24 megapixels, Expeed 7, and new capabilities; i.e. 6K open gate recording, shutter angle, etc.. I think the Z7 III should be an A7RV competitor and have 60 megapixels.
24MP images are more than enough for me. However, wildlife with a 100-400 means I often end of cropping. In which case 33MP leaves more of a margin. Given that Nikon doesn’t seem to put too much effort into DX, that is even more important.
Z6III will be out Loooong before Canon R5II and R1
I'll put my money down tomorrow for a Z500
There’s a gap between 45-24, so 33 is a possibility since Sony already have 33 and Nikon buys from Sony. But, my gut says 24, easier to process fast with excellent dr and noise control.
What if I use APSC lens on those suggested 33mp sensor, I assume not much change. Otherwise 24MP plus good af, processor and better video features will do for many.
A Z mount "D500"... Yes, bring it on for wildlife, but the cropped sensor needs to be 30++ MP or DX mode on the Z8 & 9 would do the same, in house...
I agree with you as Nikon has lenses such as 180 - 600 for the wildlive market
Yes 33mp for a Z500 so it does not compete directly with the Z 45mp cameras.
Vahag, B&H and Adorama been nothing here in the UK or anywhere else so I’m expecting the Z5iii next week, hope fully along with the 35 1.2, to close out the road map.all surprises from there on in
👍✌️
Excited for z6iii but since I just sold my z5, I don’t have z lenses, so I may think about the canon r6ii if the specs are the same as that one
I think you hit the nail on the Head. How will the Z6iii best the R6ii if it only has a 24.5mp sensor?
Beautiful one
There are so many 24 mp cameras not anymore. .33 is very cool
Hey V, 24mp - Full Frame is the sweet spot. 😂 So there's my 2 cents❤ From Manhattan
Have z9
Waiting for z7 iii as second camera
Since Sony has A6700/FX30 with 26 MP as top of the line APS-C photo/video cameras, hopefully Nikon will also release Z90 or Z50|| soon, with similar specs, stack sensors, and top autofoucus performance to rule the crop mirrorless sections 👍👍👍
Would love to have 33mp but likely it will be 24mp
Like to see 28 or 30 megapixels resolution with new Z6III .
Cool talk about the Z8iii and you getting one to see what it can do. The sarcastic millenial's channel, I might check it out. The movie "Gravity" is a really cool mvie, I also like another movie based in space called "Pandorum". You may have already seen that movie. Great video Vahagn.
I prefer 36 MP. A stacked 24 BSI sensor would most likely be more than $2400.
Needs 33 to differentiate 🙂
I care more about the size of rear LCD. It should be at least 3.5" or better 4" if it doesn't drains the battery fast. This upgrade is really important, as 90% of times my camera is far away from eye level. It would greatly help to judge a composition or have a better view of facial expressions while shooting with wide angle lenses. I am willing to pay extra $300 for that.
Amoled screens like flagship cell phones would really be nice on our rear screens. They would use less power and be higher resolution than what any of the camera companies are using now. Not sure how much the camera cost would go up.
@@williambuford6136 This should really be implemented.ASAP. Most often I struggle to keep vertical lines parallel or perpendicular while composing a frame in the rear LCD. Though it can be done in post the final image is cropped, and you sometimes lose an essential element which is at edge of the composition.
Love from Mississauga! I would prefer 24 MP camera but with excellent auto focus and image quality and light weight. It has to be one up against its competitors from Canon and Sony. I don't even know which cameras are from its competitors. And, regarding Jared Polin, I could not care any less.
Stacked 33mp for that sweet sweet lo light concert photography 👀
Being position towards hybrid shooter, I wish Z6iii will have a 33mp stacked BSI sensor, expeed 7, faster Flash sync, 6k 60fps, internal NRaw recording. So it can compete with sony A7 and A7s series.
If there will be a Z7iii( I hope there is) slightly higher resolution, also Stacked BSI sensor, 1/1000 flash sync speed. Maintain the base iso of 64. Still no OPF. Expeed 7 processor

We are all waiting
It would be nice to see some teaser videos from Nikon
I wonder if Nikon and Canon are waiting for each other to release their latest cameras, and then bang the other one will release theirs a few days after to get all of the limelight?
One can only dream of a stacked 33 mp
Z6III with stacked sensor with an extra 4 or 6 megapixels of resolution over the Z6II I would fine with small bump in resolution.
I think 33mp will be the sweets pot for me on the Z6iii,
Z7ii should be 60mp focused on studio and product photography.
Nikon sells a lot of Zf retro cameras! I think as soon as the Z6iii comes onto the market many people will choose it instead of the Zf. In terms of specs i think they are going to be about the same that's why Nikon is waiting, that's my feeling....

ZFs are selling but Z6iii are having to ship around the horn of Africa to reach Europe and the USA. This might be what is delaying all the new cameras from all the manufacturers!

Jared basically just made 15,000 for 8 hours of his time. Now that's pretty smart. Especially for those photographers who already know the ins and out of photography. So honestly I would not attend because it would cost me more than just the $1,000 to pay him. Honestly, it would be a huge loss for me in revenue just to spend those 8 hours.
Or bring back a 36mp a'la D800E?
looks like they watched your videos man...3k the Z6 III
you should look up the reasons people dislike clark because theres other players with better stats that dont get half of what shes getting just saying it might change your mind on what people are saying towards the hate.... just sound like u were going off of the sound bites u saw not fact checking to see if shes as great as media says she is compared to other players.... mostly alot of hype
The Z6iii should be a 24mp , stacked sensor with an Expeed 7 chip...Killer sports, low lights, fast camera... End..
i hope stacked
For Sure!👍
Love to see a stacked sensor Z6iii, it would be a bold move from Nikon.
100%
Dreaming ?😂@@nhfeuhr3kl439
Z6iii with a readout speed approaching 10ms would be great! Fast readout speed on a 24.5 mp far more likely than 33mp
Delayed for B&H etc being closed... Bull, antisemitic bull too!!! 😂
I think the issue with the issue with the Z500 is that they don’t want to commit to making serious APSC lenses.
Yeah it’s a shame. Some of those dx f lenses were actually insane
Historically that seems like the Nikon play book.
Z6 III should stay 24mp but increase readout speed for video. I think we need a Z7 III either 33mp or 45mp for those that don't need/want a Z8 but don't want 24mp. DX needs updated too.
Read out speed needs to be increased for the flash sync, so we don't have to use Highspeed Sync modes on flashes as much. Amen on the DX line needs updating, maybe use the Z6iii body for the updated DX(Z500)???
What they really need is a modern viewfinder. I will say 33MP or 24MP will work as long as it's a fast-readout sensor. 33MP will make it closer to ] Sony's equivalente.
I don’t dig so I pass
i hope they pay homage to the legendary D4/D4s and go back to 16MP
Needs to be 33mp please!! otherwise they will lag behind Canon / Sony. Ive been a Nikon user all my life, if its not 33mpb i will consider switching to either Canon or Sony
I hate to say it but the pros have spoken. 25/26MP would be the sweet spot for video 6K. 33MP is counter intuitive to the Z6 low light advantage.
Sensor pixel well technology has improved since the 24.5 mp BSI sensor of 2018.
WMB gay hah,
I agree about the cs channel video about the 85mm.
Caitlin Clark will fizzle out in short order. No, other players arent jealous. At least get her name right.
No, we dont need a Z500. The Z6ii renders it unneccessary. Imagine what the Z6iii will be.
Dont anything NR says.
I would never give Polin $1000. Damien Lovegrove and Nathan Elson are far better photographers.
I think Z7 will disappear from the lineup. The Z8 fills that niche.
Maybe there is still a market for cheaper lighter 45-60mp camera than the Z8?
Jared Polin teaching photography---- This must be a joke. Other than being a Sony sellout and a Nikon trasher, he does not shoot even on self defense these days.
Nikon can improve their tech but will not 'Think Different'. Last time the Nikon (ol' farts LOL) tried to be cool, was ads with Ashton Kutscher in 2009.
LOL! Never know but Nikon might produce a better creator camera with Red Tech in the future??? Move over Z30???(This might not age well LOL)
Kasey has several YT channels, 2 of them @cameraconspiracies and @vegetablepolice have well over 100K subs each. I like Him, Jared and Kai for the comedy.
