- when living offgrid in a campervan I find it vitally important to always have a toilet in my campervan but avoiding smells can often be a struggle . that's why I was originally a little scared to try a composting campervan toilet but I'm so glad that I have now because the trelino composting toilet has blown my expectations out of the water.
it looks stylish and with zero smell it really makes for a great option for off grid living in the UK and Europe.

Why couldn't German engineers put non-slip rubber feet on a composting toilet costing £400.
Great idea but what a price for essentially is a couple of plastic buckets and a bottle.

Wow, that's very expensive for essentially 2 buckets and a separator, I was expecting some kind of mechanism or something else a little bit more tech.

Wow the price has put me right off, there are bogs out there that do exactly the same thing for less than a £100, or even £50 unless your one has gold handles and Dimond studded seat!!. But love you enthusiasm on the bog you have bought. and you had to engineer the non slip pads yourself... Look forward to your next review on a power box !!! keep it real my friend. love your work... If you had a motorhome you could go on a site for one night’s stay (£35) every 5 days to empty a proper cassette 200 times! 200 x 5 days = 1,000 days equates to nearly 3 years for what your ‘bucket’ is selling for. That’s a ‘no’ from me. 😂

Do as MANY motorhome owners do, just put a biodegradable commode liner in the bowl of your Thetford chemical toilet when you need a number Two. That way you only have liquid waste to pour into a public toilet when you need to.
