From 2004-2005 until 2020, Arsenal were a team playing a beautiful football with the ball, but without any tactics and discipline off the ball. Everything was relying on that beautiful football, without even a big intensity in training (after 2006 and the departures of the invincibles) and without plan B.
Arteta already changed that. How Arsenal play seriously off the ball is already something Wenger never achieved after 2006. How we defend set pieces also, under Wenger after 2006 it was horrible.
His ambitions are different. He wants tactical discipline and for that i back him at least for 3 more years whatever happens
It is but in terms of 1v1 marking, Arsenal's defenders are probably the best suited for that risk. The whole back line is rapid. The most error prone is still Gabriel but the trade off is that he is also the biggest offensive set piece threat of the back 4 they have. Holding must be let free this summer wathever happens, and we already have 3 CB (with ben white).
If we have one more top CB, and one top goalkeeper more, the defensive line would be complete next season. Gabriel has been very good and intense, but one more CB would add strenght in top games.
You are right about the performances of our Wing back, specially about Diaz (Salah isn't in a good period), but we have to say that the whole team was in position in our half of the pitch, so there wasn't much room left for wingers to attack.

Arsenal are top of the league because they are one of the best teams in the PL. Regardless of whether they are going to win the title or not, the best teams are always the title challengers. I don't know why people say Arsenal are not title challengers. Yes Arsenal has a relatively thinner squad but there are only a few games left before the WC break and transfer window.

Klopp should be smart enough and play Salah as a number 10 and Jota as a RW. This way he'd have messed up Arteta's plan of guarding Salah for 90 min and would have used Salah's creativity more efficiently rather than reducing him to a normal RW who is instructed to cross balls to Nunez.

I don't agree, since Klopp took over, for the most of it, Liverpool have been better than us every time we've met them. They have beaten us purely on merit not on an anomaly otherwise it wouldn't keep on happening like how many defeats (in a row) are coincidences and not an anomaly. Don't get me wrong we've competed and scored goals but they were always that much better than us.
