It's a great goal to know how to do every position. You won't have to limit yourself. Shout out to the pax for acting like they were raised right. lol There have been a lot of articles about flight crews being short and how sucky y'all have been feeling due to ill treatment. May all your pax (especially on international trips) give y'all grace.
Yea I should try to learn every position. Galley is pretty much the last one I’ve been avoiding lol. And yes BLESS THEM it was such a pleasant trip I hope to have many more like it 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Another international 😯. Galley does seem like itd be crazy on such a big plane, but also maybe fun if you're just in the zone and generally dont have to be bothered by passengers.
I know right another international what’s gotten into me lol 😜 Yea you’re right that’s why some ppl like it so much. You’re in your own little world and have the least amount of interaction with pax. It’s a lot to learn but once you learn it it’s great.

I hope to get back to London once things calm down (I wouldn’t go during summer though). I am a lot more mature now than I was when I went in 1989 and 2000. I would probably appreciate it more. It looks like it changed a lot.

Hi Alexis, I'm a Brit (not in London tho') so l won't say this is 100% certain but l think the reason it was so quiet is partly the area you were in but also a humid 26c is fairly hot for us (l know, light-weights😆.) Am guessing it may have got busier later on in the day when it was cooler. Having said that the larger cities in particular get pretty hot in the summer and we do get used to it, so what do l know?! 😆 Don't think it's to do with COVID, that's kind of been put in 'the rear view mirror ' by a substantial amount of the population.
